We spent a magical week on the Delaware! The listing is gorgeous, but this home was even better in real life! It had everything we needed and more to have lovely al fresco dinners, poolside afternoons and cozy evenings. Can’t wait to visit again!

This property was a “ slice of paradise” . Mark was incredibly prompt and responsive to the few issues we had. Pool was exceptional. Property was quiet and serene.

The home was so so cool! Like living in an art gallery. The kitchen had every appliance/servingware you could ever need. Lots of places to dine throughout and outside the home. Such a beautiful and serene location! 10/10 did not disappoint!!

Great location. Fantastic to wake up each morning looking at the river from the expansive view this property provides. Plenty of comfortable room for our family of 8. Totally enjoyed our 10 day stay at this property.

Lovely 10 days on the Delaware River

We just spent a week and a half at Betsy’s beautiful home on the Delaware River. The house is perfect for a family reunion or a group of friends looking for a quiet getaway. The house was impeccably clean and is fully equipped, from the gourmet kitchen to the plentiful pool towels. The outdoor spaces are lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch at the end of the day looking out over the river and had most of our meals at the large outdoor table under the lights of the arbor. The pool is beautifully situated with a view of the river (though it is not heated) and the landscaping is exceptional. There is plenty of parking for a group of 8-10 people. We also used the bike paths (access is literally at your back door) and we also kayaked several days. Our only complaint is that the steps from the deck do not actually go to the river, so you’ll need to launch your water toys from a boat launch half a mile away. We look forward to our next visit!

Not an average house, not an average review ...This is a fine property right on the Delaware and was just what we needed for our family of 6 to visit extended family for a reunion.We arrived at midnight on our first night's stay but found, due to a serious mis-communication on account to one owner being out of the country, a caretaker who wasn't expecting anyone for days. The house was dirty, beds not ready, and AC in second floor of the wing was not working. The owner Mark went above and beyond to make everything he could right, getting the house and grounds cleaned and issues fixed while we were out the next day. After that, we enjoyed the pool, kayaking on the Delaware, the fire ring, the ample kitchen dishes and utensils for our party's meals, and walks on the trail by the Delaware.The art and decorations are notable and eclectic, including some valuable modern art originals, making this a unique home. Another issue: Power utility issues that caused the generator to go on one day/night, which is noisy when you are trying to sleep.In the end, we'd give it the highest rating for making up for the disaster of a checkin (1 star) with above and beyond service and a truly unique, well-equipped and large luxury home in a great riverfront location. We'd recommend for large groups or families.

Patrick and his family were wonderful guests who allowed us to make things right for the mixup at check-in, which has never occurred before. They left the house in impeccable condition and are welcome back anytime!
