La nostra casetta si chiama 'Se la Greene erba cresce'. Se si vuole uscire per un simpatico, bellissimo 3 camere, 2 bagni cabina di log su 3 + acri di assolutamente splendida terra, questo è il vostro prossimo luogo di vacanza! Un piccolo torrente attraversa la proprietà e gira sotto strada Bethel nel fiume Watauga. Al fiume si può andare a pesca, tubi o semplicemente giocare nel fiume e rinfrescarsi.

C'è una grande stufa a legna nella zona soggiorno. Al piano nobile si trova una camera da letto matrimoniale e un bagno completo, con una sala lavatrice e asciugatrice. La cucina è completamente attrezzata per tutte le vostre esigenze di cottura. La sala da pranzo e soggiorno aggiungerà a creare un'atmosfera accogliente. Al piano superiore ci sono 2 camere da letto, una con un letto matrimoniale e una con un letto matrimoniale, più un tirare fuori matrimoniale rotelle. C'è un altro bagno al piano superiore tra le 2 camere da letto. Relax sotto il portico o ponte posteriore sul rocker o altalene. Il portico posteriore ha una bella griglia del propano e l'intero piano seminterrato può essere utilizzato per il gioco notturno.

Questa cabina è stata costruita nel 1985. E 'solo un paio di miglia a Watauga Lake, sci Beech Mountain e si può guidare in pochi minuti più per raggiungere Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain, tubi a Hawksnest e Appalachian Ski Mountain. Boone è una grande città universitaria per Appalachian State University, più ha negozi, ristoranti, cinema. Valle Crucis è solo circa 5 miglia di distanza ed è sede del Mast General Store e il famoso Barrel Candy. Blowing Rock si trova nelle vicinanze, che ha incredibili negozi esclusivi ed è sede di Tweetsie Railroad. Questa cabina è dotata di accesso molto facile punti per la Blue Ridge Parkway e dista solo 30 miglia di distanza per le gare NASCAR a Bristol, TN. L'elevazione in questo settore è di circa 3400 'e offre alcune delle migliori panorami del mondo, in particolare quando le foglie stanno cambiando in alta stagione.

This cabin was perfect for our weekend trip. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make meals. There were plenty of extra bed linens. The cabin had such a cozy vibe, like we were walking into my grandma's home back in the 80's! The cabin was very clean and communication with the host was very easy! Loved the beauty we could take in from sitting in the deck too!

Great place to stay with your family and dog! The setting is really beautiful and proximity to Boone is great. It was very clean, had all the kitchen items needed, peaceful place to unplug and unwind after a day of hiking. It was what you think of when you think "laid back mountain cabin." We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, rustic cabin! The property is cozy and quiet, and perfect for internet-free relaxing! There was plenty of room in the cabin for an adult family of four and our dog. The outdoor property is well-maintained and spacious.

We stayed at the cabin July 9-12, 2025. The cabin was the perfect place to relax after a long day of sightseeing! There was plenty of room for our family of 5. We did not cook any meals during our stay but the kitchen seemed to be adequately equipped if meals were prepared with plenty of cooking utensils and pots and pans. It was nice that we were able to bring our fur babies with us on this trip! The morning of our departure we saw two deer in the back yard!

Cute cozy cabin

Super cute and cozy, perfect location, loved the property. It’s seems secluded but still close enough to everything you need. I seen other reviews about the neighbors dogs. The only time I heard the neighbors dogs was when I took my dog outside. But even then it was not bad at all and couldn’t hear anything inside. Overall the place was super cute and loved staying there! The only down fall for me was the beds. Probably the most uncomfortable beds I’ve slept in. We were worried about the driveway and snow but just parked our one vehicle at the top of the drive and walked to the front door no problem!

Wonderful NC Retreat

This great moountain cabin is a fantaftisti claxce to get awat form it all. My wif, child an i wanted to wuiet place to spend the alst few days of our hiliday and this checlced all the boxes, Clean quiet and rustic. Just the typ eof cabin we wanted.

Cozy Cabin

We stayed here for Thanksgiving 2024 as we have family close by. This home is exactly as listed. It was very cozy and comfortable for our family of 4. We kept the wood fire burning as it was quite cold outside. Bonus is there is a guy who sells wood just down the hill. My boys enjoyed the swing outside and exploring the woods in the back. I prepared many Thanksgiving dishes in the kitchen and found the kitchen had everything I needed. The home also has extra pillows, towels and blankets. We were very happy with our stay. Would stay again.

Vacation in Sugar Grove

Cabin was clean. We stayed for 3 nights and did not hear any dogs barking at anytime during our stay. Stairs outside around back are slippery. If you want to get to the bottom of yard use the grassy hill. Hosts were great and answered all my questions about the listing.

Such a perfect little getaway!

It was a very cute cabin with everything we needed. My 14 month old loved exploring with us in the woods. Everything was very clean and for the most part as kid friendly as it could be.

Great Family getaway!!

The cabin is actually what you would think about in the Mountains of NC. It is decorated very nicely with country antiques and very cozy. The drive time to local attractions and sites is not bad at all and gives you a chance to enjoy the local’s atmosphere. If you hunting for a Christmas tree farm during your stay there are plenty around in the area. The Cheese Factory in West Jefferson is about 45 minutes away and is a most to go see. They have some great antique stores in the area. Boone and Blowing Rock are both just a short drive with numerous shops and Antique stores to keep you busy. If you are into skiing,mountain biking, or fishing you will not be disappointed. Great place hope to visit again soon.

sugar grove fall Boone

Comfortable and roomy digs reasonable distance from Blue Ridge. No views of mountain vistas from the deck, but situated in a lovely wooded area surrounded by trees (for us) in glorious fall foliage. As noted by other reviewers, at night we could hear neighbor's dog barking, but it was not like it was so close and/or loud that it set our dogs off or kept us awake. With two baths and three bedrooms, this place can't be beat for a group who want to split costs and keep expenses down. Not the poshest VRBO I've stayed at, but more than adequate and an outstanding value. I would recommend to friends and I would stay at again.

This cabin is owned by 'The Greenes'. We grew up in North Carolina and attended college at Appalachian. We know and love this area and are happy to have the chance to share it with you. We have a 22 year old daughter who loves to bring her friends and have fun in the mountains at 'Where the Greene Grass Grows'

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

We love the mountains! It is so nice in the heat of the summer, because it is usually very cool. In the winter it is fun to visit and go skiing with friends. The river is so natural and does not come with the sand that ends up all over everything when vacationing at the beach. The views are great. The shopping is awesome and you are always family in the NC mountains.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

Great to read a book and listen to the creek. Nice to sit by the river or to go fishing. Perfect for hiking in the summer or skiing in the winter. Wake up to deer in our yard!
