We have stayed at this property multiple times, Shawna is incredibly responsive to any questions and the property is perfect for our family to have some space to enjoy time together when we are in town to enjoy a game at USD or just visit with our college student.

This property is a perfect spot for someone looking for a little space to spread out, but still be close to the University.The owner was very responsive and their process easy and efficient!We are looking forward to our next stay!

This was our second stay at this location and the service was just as prompt this time. This location provides space to have friends and family hang out while visiting the area. It is conveniently close to the university for parents visiting their students or coming in town to catch an event.

This was a great place for you daughter to relax and heal after her ACL surgery. The properties is very well maintained and comfortable. The host communicated very well and even let us in early. The location is very close to Vermillion and USD. Thank you for everything we enjoyed our time.

Great location for accessing the Missouri River! We floated from Brooky Bottom to Mulberry Bend. Easy take out and return to the house from the Mulberry Bend boat ramp.Backyard patio, picnic table and gas grill were great for hanging out after the kayak trip!

Beautiful location! We loved hiking the trail behind the cabin. The setting is very peaceful and beautiful. The host was extremely communicative and responsive! We had everything we needed and more for our stay and this cozy cabin was very comfortable and cute. Thank you for a great stay!

We came to visit our college kids at USD and this was the perfect place to stay! It was clean, there was plenty of room and Shawna supplied everything we needed. We spent lots of time exploring the woods and trails behind the property before the snow hit on Sunday. Once the cold weather arrived, we stayed in and played cards and cooked meals - it was warm, cozy and family friendly. We’ll definitely stay there again!

Great location for visiting Vermillion

Super cute house. Comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay. It felt very secluded but was only a ten minute drive into Vermillion. The property was quiet and beautiful.

Beautiful Home!

This is a wonderful house in a beautiful location. We enjoyed the nature trail and the beautiful trees, squirrels, deer, and turkeys!

Cozy Cabin

This is an excellent home away from home. I would recommend extra tuperwear in kitchen and a floor lamp in family room for dimmer lighting. Very clean and comfortable, I would recommend staying here.

Great getaway!

Scenic location, quiet, and restful. Just what we needed while traveling to Vermillion for a golf tournament. Excellent communication with the manager. House had everything we needed to relax and unwind. Great spot!

Nice and clean and close to USD

Very cozy and clean. Very close to USD campus. Wish there was another bathroom and more beds. The only reason I say that is that there are very few VRBOs in and around Vermillion that can accommodate a group (we are a fam of 6). We look forward to more stays at your Cabin.

Hi Carla!! We have beds for up to 10 people. There are 2 luxurious queen air mattresses and 2 twin xl rollaway beds! The lower room also has a full sofa sleeper. Let me know and we will accommodate You and your family.

Turkey Hunting

Loved the location and amenities. We have hunted the Hoesing properties for the last 6 years and stayed in Vermilion previously. This was a million times better. Hope to re-book for next year. Maybe we'll have to ask about getting permission to hunt the VRBO property as well. Ha!

This was an enjoyable, comfortable get away home to meet family friends for a few days. The accommodations were just right for everyone and the setting was great for hiking and visiting nearby Nebraska State Parks. We do have a couple minor suggestions for improvement. Please add a scrubber for cleaning pots and pans plus a dish drainer for cleaned dishes. Repairs needed: the ceiling light in the bedroom/bathroom hallway was burnt out or did not work. We would have used it as a night light if it had worked. Overall though we were very pleased with our stay and would consider staying again.
