The Farmhouse @ Desoto Farms with Hot Tub!

Come and enjoy this beautiful farm in the completely new open concept farmhouse with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams in the living room adjoining the eat-in kitchen with all the essentials for cooking or preparing your favorite meals. This home offers an ensuite master with a queen bed and gorgeous claw foot tub in addition to a tile shower. There is a separate bedroom with another queen bed and full bath to sleep a total of 4 comfortably. Enjoy the huge screened in rear porch while relaxing in the hot tub, then venture outdoors to the fire pit area with seating for everyone.

All of this is sitting on the 200 acre operating farm that is conveniently located minutes from where you can spend the day enjoying nearby attractions such as Desoto State Park, Desoto Falls, Mentone, AL., Little River Canyon, Historic Downtown Fort Payne, Alabama Fan Club Museum, Shady Grove Dude Ranch and more!

The Farmhouse - Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay very much the house was clean and just like the pictures shown on the VRBO site. We enjoyed the peace and quiet but we were close enough to Fort Payne for dinner and shopping. Also drove into Chattanooga a couple of times for Ruby Falls and Rock City.

Ft. Payne with a purpose

This is a great little home. We had to be on Ft. Payne for a tournament and stay a lot in Mentone. This home put us closer to the venue. It is so quiet and and the views are so beautiful.

Perfect weekend getaway!

From the time we opened the door, we knew it was going to be perfect. This is probably one of the cleanest houses I have ever rented! The kitchen was stocked well for a weekend, the fire pit was amazing and the hot tub was so clean! We usually are nervous about enjoying them but this one was so clean you could tell it was taken care of. We will definitely be going back!

Good stay place was decorated nicely and check in was easy. The only issues were the fire alarm in the bed room was chirping when we walked in. I couldn’t find batteries so I ended up going to the store and buying some, there was also three light bulbs out in the bathroom. I found some in the house and replaced them

Anniversary Get Away

The Farmhouse at Desoto Farms is such an amazing location if you are looking for luxury accommodations in a quiet, secluded setting. My husband and I loved this rental and will definitely be back. The farmhouse was spotless and very comfortable. There were plenty of bath linens, hot tub towels. and soft throw blankets. The bedding was extremely comfortable. The kitchen was adequately supplied for our needs. I would suggest some glass plates for the microwave. We loved the views, peace and quiet, fire pit, and hot tub. The farmhouse is about a mile from Desoto State Park and is not a bad drive from Chattanooga and other activities in the area. Restaurants were nearby. Check out the Tigers Inn in Valley Head. It was one of our favorites. The only recommendation that I would have would be to add a stackable washer/dryer. The state park(one mile from the farmhouse) does provided for laundry if needed. Thanks for a great stay!

This property was perfect for our mini vacation to the mountains. The house is beautiful! Very cozy. Hot tub was amazing! I highly recommend this house! It was super clean, management team were very responsive to any questions, and was nicely located between Little River Canyon and Desoto State Park. Can’t say enough on how much we enjoyed staying here.

Kitchen was spacious and clean, however a few more items would be nice in the kitchen. We only stayed 2 nights, so, no cooking. However, we noticed there were no serving dishes so if you cook, you'll eat out of the pots & pans. We took wine with us and had to use iced tea glasses. Again, it was fine for our needs for 2 nights. Location was perfect and easy to get to! Would rent again.

What a delightful stay!

We loved everything about our stay. This was a quick stay after attending a family member's graduation, and this little farmhouse is everything we expected. The home is comfortable and in a nice private setting. It was an ideal location to visit some of the waterfalls and natural beauty nearby. Very peaceful and quiet! We hope to be back soon.

Quiet Secluded Farmhouse Cottage

A classic, quite, farmhouse hideaway! Overall a great stay. Located minutes from local state parks, nature attractions and drivable downtown for all your local needs. TV remote batteries in both bedrooms were dead and didn't work. Towels need to be bleached or replaced, they smell very damp-musty once they're wet and continue to smell once they're dry. The couch has its legs cut off it and sits on the floors which is really uncomfortable if you have bad back/hips and are over 5'8"tall. The kitchen table chairs were the only comfortable adult chairs in the house. Be careful with the rocking recliner, it tips over backwards easily and will dump you out on the floor. Kitchen and fridge was clean, but cookware pans are old and scratched up and not safe to cook on.

Enjoyed our stay, only compliments was the birth dropping on the swing set. And on the back with the hot tub that door doesn't lock and it kept swing open.
