1 Bedroom, recently remodeled. 2 Queen Beds (in separate rooms), direct oceanfront condo. From the 1st floor, enjoy fabulous views of the ocean off the balcony, living room, and kitchen area. This condo has granite countertops in the kitchen and bath, very tastefully decorated. 2 Queens beds that sleeps up to 4. Swim in both the resorts indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs! Walkable to Myrtle Beach restaurants, mini-golf, shopping, and entertainment! Enjoy the ocean, this condo is great for weekend getaways or couples wanting to stay longer! Conveniently located and within steps of the beach, close to Family Kingdom Amusement Park. A short drive from Broadway at the Beach, Market Common, Ripley's Aquarium and IMAX Theater. Many of the areas popular attractions, restaurants, golf courses, and shopping are a short drive away.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Schooner building is undergoing renovations on each floor. However, our unit is available for booking and remains in rentable condition.

AMENITIES: Starting 9/1/21, guests will not have access to the onsite restaurants (including the tiki bar and coffee shop), laundry facility, kids' slide area, or fitness center. All other water features are available, except the indoor pool in the Schooner building.

PET POLICY: Pets are not allowed from March 1 to October 31.
Pets are only allowed for long-term renters (30+ days) from November to February.

Good vacation

Location was great, few maintence issues in the room, but nothing serious. Emails, we sent few were not answered about questions. But all in all we would come back and stay again. Everyone was very friendly.

Single vacation

This was my first time in Myrtle Beach and it didn’t disappoint. I appreciate the owners suggestions on where to eat and things to do. I loved the location with the beach front and the pools/hot tubs/lazy rivers. The only thing that I didn’t enjoy was that the resort that this condo is at was undergoing plumbing repairs so every once in a while I could smell it but it was for like 5 seconds at a time. Also the bath towels were very thin, so it was hard to get dry. But overall 5 out of 5!

Too many loud motorcycles

We were there and Myrtle Beach was welcoming two different motorcycle groups. When we were leaving the entire street was blocked off. We had to make three attempts to get back to the motel. We left a day early. Motorcycle groups were not conducive to family. The loudness is not good for babies or elderly.

Reasonable Pricing except for Cleaning Fees

While, the place was comparable to others and reasonably-priced; the floors were very dirty. I mopped them twice and still, they were coming up dirty. Also, the sliding glass door to balcony was "horribly" dirty, as well (finger/body prints everywhere). One of the beds had hair on the fitted sheet. Also, the mattress covers were both disgustingly stained. I didn't receive my door code until almost an hour past check-in. Ease of access (1st floor unit), nicely-stocked kitchen, excellent towels/washcloths but needs "BETTER" cleaning crew. I run a cleaning business and this crew would be fired, YESTERDAY!

Rude Property Manager

"Repairman" tried to force his way into the unit at 9:30 at night. We were not warned that he was coming, was in bed asleep, and a strange man without a uniform or identification was forcing his way into our unit. It was very frightening and a dangerous situation which could've resulted in his death and me going to jail. The property owner refused to recognize the danger of situation, admit there was a problem. or that anything was wrong. After checking BBB, i'm not the only one with an issue with her.

Great place to stay

Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay! We ended up staying for 7 days. It's clean and on the first floor with access to the pool & ocean right outside sliding glass door. It can be a little loud at times but location is worth it. The negative was what I would refer to as almost 'threating list of potential charges' for a whole bunch of things. like $50 if the inputs are changed on TV's, $50 if the walls are scuffed, etc... Upon check-in, I sent over 20+ pictures of wall scuffs, cabinet dings, paint scraps, etc - all very minor items, but I didn't want to get hit with a large bill for all of those that we didn't do. The property management team were very responsive and acknowledged receipt of pictures. There was also an issue with the microwave, it was missing the turntable inside of it. I believe the property management team tried to resolve that issue, but they didn't follow-up. Overall, I'd give the property management team 4 stars, would have been 5 if they had resolved the microwave issue. Overall - it's a great place to stay, kids & parents (pools, beach, weather, barbecue area, etc ) will love it. We went in March 2023, and the price was very good.

I grew up in rural North Carolina, visiting Myrtle Beach on our family vacations and loved every second. I love Myrtle Beach because the palm trees in the pool area give a tropical feel! Compass Cove offers so many fun activities and amenities for guests, who are welcome to enjoy any amenity available at one of three buildings comprising the resort. Such amenities include, but are not limited to: a large kiddie fun activity pool area, 3 lazy rivers, 7 hot tubs, 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool, and more! Great available unit in a fantastic resort!
