Property was great! Relaxing. Was close enough to town to make a run to store; but felt miles away when at house. Grandkids loved seeing & feeding deer. And the theatre room was great.Would definitely stay again!!

The hosts were so kind and the cabin is wonderful for a lot of people! Everyone had their own space which was great. The movie room is really great for a calm night at the house.

We stayed this week for our 27th wedding anniversary! The peace and quiet was such a welcome opportunity to just connect with each other. The home is clean and comfy and we had a wonderful stay! There are so many thoughtful touches throughout the cabin and the hosts are extremely easy to communicate with! The attention to detail really is unmatched! The creativity put into the escape room activity is unbelievable! That was such a fun thing to do and we felt like kids again while solving the riddles and puzzles! The movie room is such an amazing part of the cabin's charm! So comfy and fun! Feeding the deer was an awesome experience! To be able to see them so up close was very cool!! The location of this cabin is something that sets it apart! There are a ton of homes in this resort but you'd never know it at Gladstone Getaway! Overall this has been a wonderful week for us to just unwind and connect with each other that we so needed! Thank you for the memories!!! Would definitely stay here again!

Property is on the edge of a sprawling resort which has multiple pools, an exercise center, lush forests, deer, and a small river perfect for easy kayaking. A no- license required fishing pond is there but nothing was biting our bait. My only negative was the very narrow curving roads which left me uncomfortable driving at times. Traffic was light usually so we got used to being very careful and not gawking at the many deer :-). The owners were extremely responsive and the challenging find it/solve it historical mystery game was a big hit!

We had the best time at this property! Talk about peace and quiet, this is it! We loved exploring the beautiful grounds, soaking in the hot tub and we ended nearly every night with a family movie night in the theater room (we loved it so much we are thinking of how we can build one in our own home!) This truly felt like home away from home in the best way! Cozy, relaxing, inviting. We truly did not want to leave.

We rented this beautiful cabin for my son’s 16th birthday! We traveled as a family along with my son’s best friend and our dog, Bailey! When we walked in the door the kids ran from room to room exploring all of the fun spaces! Everyone loved finding a room of their own! We spent our first night snuggled up and comfy as ever in the theater room! This was the favorite room in the house for us! The younger two watched a movie of their choice and the teens watched a movie of theirs after! The surround sound was awesome and the sound didn’t carry up to the floors above! The next amenity we took part in was the hot tub! It was so easy to use and such a crowd pleaser! I sat and read by the fire pit while the teens soaked away! Of course we had to roast s’mores with such an inviting fire pit! I definitely recommend purchasing some fire wood if you intend to sit outside and relax by the fire in the evenings! My youngest spent his mornings watching out the front window as deer came to eat the deer food we laid out! The whole drive through the resort you are met with deer on all sides! The kitchen was stocked with more of those odds and ends like spices, bowls, etc that you need to prepare food that I feel like most places lack. The bedding on all of the beds was some of the softest bedding I have found staying at a cabin or hotel even. I was thankful because after our days of hiking a good nights sleep was a must! 1000/10 we will be back and we will stay here again!

Excellent communication by host. Everything was as pictured. We saw lots of deer and enjoyed nearby hiking, wineries and the towns of Ellijay and Blue Ridge.

We had the privilege of staying at Gladstone Getaway for a last-minute family trip to Ellijay, and it was absolutely terrific. My wife, our three kids, and I spent the weekend there and truly enjoyed every part of the experience.The home sits at the end of a private road surrounded by woods with a small creek nearby, making it peaceful and relaxing. We loved exploring the property, and one of the coolest parts was the deer all around the cabin. They were incredibly comfortable around people and would come so close you felt like you could almost pet them.The cabin was extremely well-equipped with thoughtful touches everywhere. The movie room with popcorn and the hot tub were favorites for our family. Bob and Andi were fantastic hosts, making sure we had everything we needed and even putting together a scavenger hunt for the kids that was such a fun and memorable touch.Overall, it was the perfect place to unwind for a long weekend, and we would absolutely stay again.

Everything about this place was perfect. We are a family of teenagers and an infant (and a dog) and everyone had a great time, plenty of space to call home and relax, and the hosts, Bob and Andi were the best! I can’t say enough great things about them and their beautiful cabin! Do the Escape Room- just wait a day or two to get familiar with the cabin and it’s worth the adventure!

This was a perfect comfortable house for our family getaway! It was well equipped with everything we needed. The owners are very responsive, nice people. We enjoyed hiking down to the babbling brook nearby, the fire pit, hot tub, the movie room etc. And the town of Ellijay is real gem!

This was a really fun cabin experience! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were very helpful and communicative. We enjoyed the hot tub, hiking around the cabin, the back porch swing, cozying up in front of the fire, and the fun Escape Room type game the hosts put together for us. We would definitely come back!

Summer escape

We really enjoyed getting away to the peace and quiet in Ellijay, it was a great escape from our busy lives in Florida. The cabin was clean and roomy and the location was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed some days in town exploring and some days just relaxing together in the cabin. My teenagers loved the movie room! It was a great stay and the hosts were great with communication!

Loved it!

I love all the decks the cabin had. I enjoyed sitting on them and having lunch. It was secluded from the other cabins which was great. There was a lot of deer to watch. Also a lot of amenities to enjoy.

Amazing!

Everything was perfect from location to responsiveness and enthusiasm of the host. Do the escape room! I can’t tell you enough that you won’t be disappointed. The cabin itself was super clean and well appointed and the resort has everything you’d need. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

Clean, beautiful home away from home!

We were looking for an escape from hurricane Helene. The home surpassed our expectations. It was clean, beautiful, had everything and more we needed and so spacious! The booking was easy, the hosts were amazing! We will definitely be back!

Spring Break vacation

The cabin was very nice, well equipped and plenty of room. Our property manager was excellent! We even had a scavenger hunt with a special prize for completing it which was very special. I would definitely recommend this cabin to family and friends.

Great Weekend!

We had a 3 day weekend at the cabin to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. The cabin is amazing. We enjoyed some great food in town, some amazing hikes to waterfalls, and a nice night by the fire. Quiet location with beautiful scenery.

Amazing

We had such a relaxing fall break here! The kids loved the movie theater, hot tub, exploring the property, and seeing all the deer. The scavenger hunt was also a big hit. Andi and Bob were phenomenal host! We can’t wait to come back!
