We had a great stay! Plenty of room for everyone and loved the multiple social spaces with the basement and also upstairs kitchen dining room area.

Great location, Great Home

This a terrific spot to enjoy Emerald Isle, with convenient beach access. The home is well appointed and has everything you need for a great stay - pool, hot tub, pool table, well appointed kitchen and beautiful views from the second and third floor decks.

Great everything

Everything about this place was great. From the communication before check-in, to the cleanliness of the house, and the location made this a fantastic stay. The layout of the house is fantastic and it is better in person than in the pictures.

Wonderful home!!

We had a wonderful week in this huge house. It was a very short walk to the beach, close to restaurants and stores, and we loved the pool!!! The owner was easy to communicate with and the check in process was very easy.

Our stay in Emerald Isle

The house worked very well for our family. The children loved the pool, we were a short walk from the beach, the kitchen very functional, and all the beds gave us a good nights sleep at the end of busy days. We hated to leave! We recommend and would love to come back.

Fun family trip

Great view. Very good location. Nice house rental for a family. Has all the basics for eating. Good sleeping areas. Bathroom areas were very good. Swimming pool and hot tub area was very good and clean. The owner was very helpful and answered all our questions and gave us good advice.

It is a beautiful house with all the amenities you could wish for. Very clean and comfortable. Wonderful place for large families to stay together at the beach. Nicely furnished. The host was great also. Thanks a lot for everything Jo Ann! We will be coming back.

Clean and spacious

The house was very spacious for the 3 families we had staying for the week, as well as clean and comfortable. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had upon arriving at the house. The beach is just a short walk away and the pool was great for relaxing in the afternoons. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook almost all meals in the house. We really enjoyed our stay!

Can’t wait to go back!

We have been renting beach houses every summer for the past 20 years and this house was perfect for us. The owners were very responsive, the house was recently renovated and is beautiful. Linens were provided with beds made and kitchen is well equipped. There is plenty of space for a large group and the pool was the icing on the cake! We are already planning our next visit. 5 stars +++

Amazing!!!!

We spent Thanksgiving week here with my family. The house is very spacious and very very comfortable! The kitchen is big and well equipped with was a must for preparing our Thanksgiving meal. Loved every minute there and would highly recommend!!! Also the owner is very quick to respond to any questions you may have. Thank you so very much Jo Ann for sharing your beautiful home!!

Great beach getaway

Great location. Nice quiet neighborhood. View of the ocean from the upper deck and short walk to the beach. House is nice- lots of stairs from pool deck to upper level . Definitely got lots of exercise 😊. My only complaint is that the pool was dirty and had debris . Also the trash containers - 4 of them were all full. The interior was nice and clean and well stocked with necessities!

Thank you Angela. Our pool is professionally cleaned twice a week, however we had torrential rain and heavy wind so I suppose leaves blew in. Let me also say anytime a guest needs to have pool maintenance, just call us. We also have a skimmer net by the pool. As far as the trash, we have directions for the guest with trash pick up days and the guest are responsible to roll the cans to the end of the driveway. I apologize if the previous guest did not do that. I will add the directions to the VRBO website as well. It is a three story house, which makes the elevator such a nice feature. We're glad you enjoyed the ocean views from second and third story decks. Thank you for letting us know about the pool and trash.

4th of July

The beach house was exactly as the pictures on the website showed… modern & spacious! The elevator was a huge help for elderly members. Plenty of room for ten adults to spread out & privacy for those “working” while on vacation! A short walk to what feels like a private beach! Awesome views of the ocean from the outdoor decks & plenty of seating…. Both inside & out. Having the pool was awesome also! Being able to have the dogs with us was a big plus & there is plenty of areas for walking them plus a nice trail in Emerald Isle. Hope to be able to go again!

Relaxing Family Vacation

This home is even better than the pictures! It was very clean and had everything we needed. As with any rental, you will need to take toilet paper, paper towels, etc for the duration of your stay. The weather was still a bit chilly, so having the pool table was perfect. The kitchen has more than enough dishes, utensils, and cookware which made it easy for us to cook most meals. There is ample seating for family meals. Though this home isn’t oceanfront, we could see and hear the ocean from the balconies. And it’s just a short walk to beach access. There are spaces to park a golf cart at the beach access entrance. The beds and pillows were so comfortable! This is definitely a favorite of the homes we’ve stayed in. The homeowner and maintenance guy were responsive and helpful. Our family enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

A+ house and location

Great set up for our kids and family to meet with plenty of space to have quiet time between the third floor dining/living area, the pool/TV area on the first floor, the 3 decks that have views of the ocean, sunrises and sun sets - saw a spectacular lighting storm over the ocean one night! And the outdoor pool and hot-tub were used everyday after the beach. Bedroom layout was awesome with most rooms with TVs. The elevator made it so much easier to unload the car and get everything up to the second and third floor. The only shortcoming was the king size bed - not enough bottom support and felt like we were swallowed up by the overly thick foam pad. You can tell this place was loved and well thought out by the owner. The kitchen was fully stocked - even a cheese grater and blender. The coffee machine was not working right - not draining correctly but that was miner. We hope to come back again. Can't say enough. Have some awesome memories and great pictures!

Emerald Isle Vacation

Jo Ann, the property owner was very responsive. When a storm blew through overnight and blew leaves and dirt into the pool, Jo Ann had the pool guy come out and do a quick cleaning. The home itself was just as described. Very clean and well laid out. The beds were all very comfortable, and the location, just a block off the beach, was perfect!

Fun beach house will make you exercise!

I rented this big house to spend this vacation with my family. My husband and I were joined by my 2 daughters’ families and my son and his girlfriend. The house is great but going up and down the three levels (the kitchen is on the third level) was a bit of daily exercise. The elevator was great for luggage and groceries though. The children had a lot of fun at the pool no matter how long they were at the beach that day! The views from the third floor are great and there are enough rockers for whatever many people want to sit on the deck. The parking is a little tight for the maximum capacity of 4 because if they are not all compact vehicles, some will have to park half on the incline of it. We had 4 inflatable kayaks and it was a challenge to open the back of the truck to put them in when all 4 cars were parked in the driveway. It appears that the pool was never cleaned while we were there, despite the owner’s reply to other comments that it is professionally cleaned twice a week. Also the water pressure is very low, we had to make sure no washer was running before getting into the shower, otherwise you would have risked to remain with the soap on you. However, it’s a great place for a family vacation, very clean and with a very well equipped kitchen.

Property was great loved view and decks. Elevator was great for getting groceries up. Easy walk to beach and short drive to great food and grocery store.
