This property was good for the price, my only wish is the floors were cleaner, or they left us a broom to clean ourselves. Also the pans in the kitchen need to be replaced, when the coating comes off in your food it’s way past time to replace them.

The rental itself is beautiful, with big rooms, comfortable beds and bedding, and overall good cleanliness. The wall game upstairs is no longer there but that didn't bother us. We preferred the TV and seating area. The pool was fantastic. The grill was clean and stocked with propane. The A/C worked great, and the beach was less than a 10-minute walk away. Same with Destin Commons, Bass Pro, Whole Foods, and a liquor store. We also appreciated the two access points into the gated community.The biggest downside was small maintenance things. The floors were dirty, plan for house shoes or have a towel by the beds to clean them off before you get in. Black feet were a constant. The living room couch and bar stools are worn and unstable. The cushions didn't stay on and it bowed in the middle. The bar stools I worried would break under the men's weight. Most of the cookware is a safety concern due to severe chipping. The washer gasket was covered in mold. The master shower leaked and wouldn't stay closed properly. Dishwasher needs properly installed.The jacuzzi tub in the master was great. Loved the hand mixer, crockpot, blender amenities.Also, plan to bring or purchase extra supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, trash bags, and basic seasonings.The 50 fee per bracelet if they didn't make their way back to the bin? WILD. Only the adults wore those lol.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning if these issues were addressed.

Thank you for the detailed notes about what needs attention — that helps us prioritize. Actions we’ve taken or scheduled: - Floors/cleanliness: Housekeeping was reminded and we added an extra inspection step; the floors will receive a deep clean. - Couch & bar stools: Maintenance will inspect and we’ll repair or replace the worn/unstable seating. - Cookware: Damaged/chipped pieces are being removed and replaced with safe, usable cookware. - Washer gasket: The gasket will be cleaned/replaced to address mold. - Master shower: Maintenance will fix the leaking/closure issue. - Dishwasher: We’re having the unit properly installed/secured. - Supplies: We updated our turnover checklist and the listing to better clarify what guests should plan to bring vs. what we supply. - Resort bracelet fee: The replacement fee is set by the resort; we’ll add clearer language in the listing and house manual about bracelet rules and potential charges. Okay location, great pool

The property was not cleaned when we arrived. Dirty dishes in the cupboards, floors were not cleaned, linens had stains. Management company did send someone out to re-clean. Linens were replaced, floors were mopped, but remained very dirty - children had black feet after walking on the floors in bare feet. No screens on doors or windows, so no opportunity to let in fresh air. The pool was great. Kitchen was small and not well supplied - oven did not work well. All in all subpar for a VRBO that expensive.
