Enjoy listening to the sounds of nature on the outdoor patio or deck. This property has everything you need and is only 15 min from downtown Lawrence.

Nestled in the hills right outside the hustle and bustle of the city is a beautiful home surrounded by trees. This quiet retreat is the perfect place for a family to gather for a large meal in the dining room, have some great laughs playing games in the huge basement, and get the best relaxation needed to reset after a long day. The hosts have thought of every little thing you may need. They even have lemon packets and honey on hand for a nice cup of tea on the large patio outside to watch the sunrise. The home is beautifully decorated, meticulously maintained, and feels like home from the moment you step in the front door. We can’t wait to come back for another visit soon.

Probably one of the best VRBO's we have stayed in. This house is dialed in. Everything is thought of. We travelled to watch our son play at senior day for the Jayhawks so had 10 of his family including grandmas. Was plenty of room for all! Thank you for a great place to stay!

This was our second family gathering at this house. Everything was awesome. Plenty off room in the house but also a great yard for our Easter egg hunt. From the last report there were 2 eggs we never found.

Our stay was so much more than just a weekend trip. The house itself is lovely, but the host truly elevated the experience to a new level. The perfect house for our family Christmas celebration. The decorations, the setting, the views out the windows, the sunset view, we couldn’t have asked for more. We had 11 staying there and 5 more locals joining the celebration. Had plenty of room for everyone.

The property was absolutely beautiful. It's a sprawling ranch with a basement. Plenty of room for the family to spread out and comfy spaces for them to be together too. We stayed in the winter and hope to return in warmer weather to enjoy the gorgeous wooded grounds in better weather! Highly recommend!

Best stay ever!

Our hosts thought of absolutely everything. The house was clean, comfortable, well-stocked with toiletries, fresh fruit and wine, and was the perfect spot for our multi-generation family trip! Great location close to Lawrence and KU campus.

We can enjoy the sounds of nature and have comfort and peace that our two little girls can play outside safely and still be only 10 minutes outside of town. We are the owners of ProCore Renovations, LLC. and we specialize in home renovations. We took pride in this renovation and you can see the passion and professionalism we put into this beautiful home. We are located right next door to the property so we can be available for any immediate needs.
