All bedding towels and wash clothes provided now. This home is located in the beautiful private community in Towamensing Trails. We are a 2 minute walk to the beautiful lake, beach, pool, playground, boat rentals, clubhouse, and sand volleyball court. We are also located 10 minutes from Big Boulder and 25 minutes to Jack Frost Ski Resorts and so much more.
Our home is 3 stories and offers 4 queen bedrooms , plus a kids room with 4 twin beds. 2 1/2 baths. A bedroom with a queen bed located on the ground level along with 2 game rooms which features a pool table, conversion ping pong table, Poker table, tv, foosball table, NBA jams arcade, cocktail arcade machine with over 1100 classic games. PLUS hot tub off game room. Ground level also has a 1/2 bath. Main level offers 2 bedrooms 1 with a queen bed with jack and jill bathroom and the 2nd bedroom offers 4 twin beds with a tv. Large windows in all rooms offer beautiful views. Gas fireplace with remote. Fully stocked kitchen with extra seating at breakfast bar. Dining room and living room on this level. 3rd floor offers 2 bedrooms both with queen beds and a full bathroom. Sit on the large wrap around deck and enjoy the view perfect for stargazing at night.

If you have more than 8 people in your party, you can purchase additional paper bracelets daily at the boat rental office. Please note that these do not replace the original amenity badges provided at the house. All originals must be returned and accounted for.

We had a wonderful weekend at this house. Everything was clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for the 8 adults (4 couples) and the 2 kids plus the dog. All the amenities were useful and fun. Will look to stay here again

Arrived on Friday 6/06/25, rained the first 3 days we were there. The weather was cooler. We could only swim that weekend as they do not open outdoor activities in PA until the following weekend for summer, which we didn't know til after booking but it was okay. We found things for the kids to do. We played cards, we did a puzzle, they played pool and tons of ping pong, they sat in the hot tub, went bowling, went to the butterfly sanctuary & made the best to ride out the rain! After that it got nice out. We went to the marina, the kids played tennis, volleyball, and basketball. They fished as well. We visited Jim Thorpe and went on a train ride and shopped. We went hiking to a waterfall, went to 940 golf, got ice cream, went to Nova trampoline park. Nature here and the animals is what brought a lot of joy. We fed squirrels, we spent tons of money on apples to feed the wild deer. We were greeted every morning and night by one particular deer. She knew it was apple time when we would open the door. We had multiple deer show up. Some would even let you feed them by hand. We also got to experience a black bear in the back yard which was amazing! We usually go to the beach for vacation and thought we would try the mountains. Definitely worth it! We will be coming back and staying here again! If you enjoy nature and animals, this is definitely the place to stay! Brian is an amazing host and we couldn't ask for better! Great communication and we made a friend! Thanks for having us!

Great time as always

This us the 3rd time we stayed here and it is always a great time. The folks who own the house are always accomodating and the place is very comfortable and affordable.

Winter Recess Break

So I booked this place expecting a secluded week in the woods, and the house pics were accurate, but the neighborhood wasn't. I thought it'd be alone, but other houses were right next door! We also wanted to use the fire pit for s'mores, since they advertise a outdoor picture of chairs surrounding a fitpit showed, but it wasn't allowed in the community – I missed that in the description. Overall, the house was charming and relaxing. The host was super responsive, and the game room was a hit! One arcade game malfunction, but the host sent maintenance right away. I'm glad I brought my own bedding, because the kids' room smelled like the blankets hadn't been washed. All in all, it was a relaxing and charming stay.

Christmas Trip

This was a very nice property. It was very clean and supplied well. There were plenty of things to do and games to play. It was very nice having the hot tub. Brian was very easy to work with. Check this one out, you won’t be disappointed.

Unsafe conditions

We had no hot water on 2 of our days, Saturday and again on Monday. The electrical panel was crackling when the maintenance man came. On Sunday the alarm to the septic tank went off. Brian did get back to us but we felt the house wasn't safe not safe

Beautiful, spacious and perfect accommodations for a family

This was absolutely perfect for our family of 7 adults, 2 children and two dogs. I got a lot of praise for choosing this beautiful place because everyone had both personal space and privacy with plenty of common areas to enjoy our stay together. We loved the playroom, jacuzzi, outdoor deck and enjoyed taking the short walk to the pool and lake . Owner was quick to respond and very hospitable and friendly. Watching the deer casually walk by the yard was an added bonus we really enjoyed . Highly recommend it!

Fun long weekend

The place was perfect size for our family and friends. The house is in a great location. My only issues is the home needs some updating, the sliding glass door to the deck was very hard to open and close. Other than that it was great place for a great price! Especially since it rained some when we were there so the game room kept the kids very busy!

Mini getaway

We just got home from our long weekend stay. Such a great house for all ages. The younger kids loved the game room and the older people loved hanging in the hot tub. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone interested.

Christmas vacation

We decided to take our adult children, teen, and first grandbaby away for some family time during Christmas break. This home was the perfect size for everyone to hang out together or get some personal space. It rained a good portion of our vacation so when indoors the pool table, arcade games, and covered hot tub were enjoyed. There were plenty of board games as well. Kitchen cabinets are well stocked for everything you need. The house is in a great location with alot of activities within a 20-30 minute drive, some even closer. We will be planning a summertime trip for water rafting and hiking!

Family getaway

Perfect Guys Trip Getaway

Our group had a blast! The property is absolutely gorgeous, the game room was awesome, and the hot tub hit the spot!! No matter where you are, theres a couch and TV to catch the game :D Great communication from Brian making check in/out super easy. Several guys from the group discussed renting this property for their families. We would definitely rent from Brian again!

Family Gathering

The house was very clean and spacious. The location was great because it was so close to the community clubhouse/pool. The game room, pool table room and hot tub were fabulous and we spent countless hours hanging out which was unexpected bonus since our kids usually prefer to explore community instead. The communication with the owners was amazing. We would 100% rent this house again.

Convenient House and Neighborhood

The house had lots of fun things to do for our family. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table. The location was very convenient to the beach and pool. We enjoyed seeing the many deer that roamed the neighborhood, as well. Communication with Brian was very easy and response was timely.

Disappointing

Pros: Close to the lake/pool Lovely neighborhood Wildlife Game room (although the table tennis net was broken as well as the chair for the arcade game) Cons: Home is VERY rundown and desperate for some TLC. Furnishings and kitchenware were either very old or sourced from a thrift shop. The yard is unkept and messy (i.e spider webs, unraked leaves, mold, weeds, hot tub cover filthy, ect) The main entrance had a bucket filled with water and cigarette butts, an old birds nest stuck in the light and dirt everywhere. Mattresses and pillows were the cheapest you could buy and since we were not supplied with sheets (at the start) you could see all the stains under the "protective covers." The outside deck was gross. Much of the pain was chipped away, the cushions were unusable, they were covered in mold, as were the table and chair legs. Since this property had so many 5 star reviews we were SHOCKED at the condition of this rental. We would absolutely not recommend this property.

Our Vacation

Although we had a very nice vacation we loved how close of a walk it was to the pool and lake. However… 1. The grill needs to be replaced we couldn’t even cook on it because it needed a good cleaning which we’re attempting to do until we notice the inside lid was cracking & peeling paint off so I was to afraid that while cooking it would fall onto the food. 2. The bed on the second floor needs to be replaced very uncomfortable, squeaky and you would just roll into the middle of the bed. 3. The tables were dusty and the floors all around the edges was dirty. 4. Living room furniture was old and uncomfortable you would sink right into the cushions. We hope you take this as constructive criticism in order to help you. On a good note the owners were very attentive and nice.

Fun and relaxing

We had a great time getting together with our family! Your home was comfortable and the amenities were really fun for us, especially the 5 kids! We were in the lake, pool, and hot tub a ton! It was great to all eat together outside on the deck for meals in the beautiful summer weather. Having the game rooms downstairs for the rainy moments was awesome! We made great memories and enjoyed our stay.

Great place, great host

Brian has a beautiful house and is an awesome host. Made sure we had everything we needed and even checked on us throughout the stay. Will definitely be back!
