Secluded and Quiet

Our group had a great time at the property. Very secluded, but close enough to all the parks and local restaurants/bars. We will be visiting again.

Absolutely Beautiful, very secluded home on a very large property! The house is about 15 mins to the forksville fairgrounds and Worlds End State Forest. The lakes on the property are a 15 minute walk from the house just to give you an idea of how expansive this property is. You can spend a day exploring. The house itself is better than the pictures posted, you won’t be disappointed. The master suite is on the main floor and 5 additional bedrooms on the second floor. The kitchen is beautiful and well equipped. The dinning room is huge with a beautiful custom live edge table, that matches the kitchen counter and the stairs to the second floor. Cell coverage for T-mobile and AT&T was great! 5g 4 bars, Verizon had no service. The house is equipped with star link which we didn’t use. Sometimes being unplugged is a good thing. Bj was very responsive and accommodating host. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

Relaxing family weekend getaway

This is our second time staying here as a family. It is the perfect space inside and out for our large family to have room to spend time together. We really enjoy the large dining space with plenty of room to actually be able to have everyone sit down to eat together!The kids love having open space outside to play,

A Perfect Friends Getaway

My group had a fantastic stay. There was some weather related issues with road accessibility on the way in but Bj was so responsive and helpful. The location and amenities are top notch. This is everything we could hope for with plenty of space and ample bedrooms.

Amazing place to get together with family

The property and house were fantastic. Our family enjoyed 3 days of fun just being at the house, the kids loved fishing in the little pond and ending the day sitting by the fire. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The owners were very easy to connect and got backed to me right away.

This place is so nice & communicating with the owner is great too. Suggestions would be to have a roof on outside deck so you can be outside when weather is not the best. A game room would be great. Fixing the hot tub would be wonderful. Location is so nice & quiet. Firepit is nice big size. Home is beautiful inside.

Family get together

A beautiful, well-stocked, clean and spacious house. BJ was very responsive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and may plan future family gatherings at this space because it exceeded our expectations. There’s plenty of room inside the home to hang out and outdoors to explore!

Stayed at the property for a couple of days for a wedding. Home was as shown with plenty of room for our large group. Property is very large with easy to walk paths that will take you past several ponds and fields. Backyard is a good place for stargazing/photography.World's End State Park is nearby with great hiking opportunities or even just to sit at the picnic tables.Would definitely recommend planning supplies needed, traveling to pick up groceries etc will cost you time. Basic needs are available locally.

Great Place.

House was well setup and very nice. There’s a lot of space in and out of the house itself. Owner was responsive if you have any questions. There were also a lot of TVs available if a large group of people were to branch out to separate groups to listen to music, play games, watch sports, etc. Also there was a nice trail to walk down while also being close to the State Park.

Beautiful

Home inside & outside is beautiful. Location is quiet but does have a crazy road to get there.Owner is amazing to deal with so professional and kind.Home is great size for a large group.Hope the gas firepit on the deck gets fixed along with the hot tub.Suggestion the room above the garage with a deck off of it would be a great game room with darts, shuffleboard, air hockey and pool table. Just an idea..

Great stay on Bear Mountain

This house was perfect for our friends family weekend. We were 3 college friends getting back together with our families. There was plenty of space for everyone and the property itself is fantastic for being outside. Unfortunately it rained our entire weekend but the spaces inside allowed kids and adults to have separation and play games and socialize. BJ was exceptionally responsive to all my questions and provided options and feedback for anything requested. Overall I recommend for any families or groups looking for a secluded property near loyalsock.
