The house was a double...very clean..our puppy loved it...loved being right by the lake and the view was great!! The owner is very nice and the house is filled with whatever you need which was wonderful. We will be coming back for sure!!

This was my second time staying here and I loved it just as much as the first time! This property is cozy, homey, and perfect for a week away from it all yet so close to so many great things! The view of the lake, the surroundings, and incredibly beautiful sunsets, all this and more made for a perfect vacation. The house is beautifully furnished, the kitchen is well stocked, the bed comfy, and Kate’s check in process is so easy. I love this place and I will be back again! It’s truly a hidden gem!

The host was fantastic. The amenities were great and the view was great of Lake Erie. We sat out back and read our books. Can’t compare it to anything. We would HIGHLY recommend this place.

Anniversary Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. This cottage was safe and cozy, we had everything we needed. Location is awesome for enjoying the lake and has close proximity to restaurants and wineries.

Very cozy, we enjoyed sitting out back looking at the lake. We saw several eagles fly by and loved that. We wanted a relaxing and peaceful anniversary vacation and it was good. Would love to return

Perfect place for a quiet getaway

Our hostess thought of every little detail. The view is spectacular and even though the weather didn’t always co-operate we enjoyed every moment of our stay. Highly recommend staying here!

Absolutely delightful!

Loved every minute of our stay! The view is breathing taking, the accommodations super cozy and well provisioned. The space lives surprisingly large -- it feels much bigger than it is. Will definitely be back!

Relaxing !

My husband and I had the privilege to stay at this adorable cabin! It was cozy, very clean and fully furnished! We are looking forward to staying there again in the future! Don and Kay were excellent hosts! We highly recommend this property!

Very cozy and a great view even when it was windy and cold. Still took off and explored the region. Since a work at a greenhouse the concrete place down in Vermillion was hog heaven.

A wonderful place to stay

My husband and I stayed at this “hidden gem” for a week and throughly enjoyed it! Kate was a wonderful host and her cottage had everything thar we needed plus more. She even provided us with our first morning breakfast which included coffee and muffins and even butter! But one of the most impressive feature were the bathrobes!! We look forward to coming back next year and hopefully can extend our stay.

Great Place for a Getaway!

This is a fantastic place for a getaway!! For me, it was a solo retreat to get some reading and writing done. The home was exactly as I expected. Clean, well kept up and with a very well equipped kitchen, this was a great place for a three night/four day retreat. In March the weather was a bit sketchy making it difficult to really enjoy what otherwise would be a great view of the lake. But, the wood burning fireplace was a warm, wonderful consolation! Lastly the owner was very easy to work with, alway a plus. All together this makes for a Great Lake cottage getaway!

Paradise

It was absolutely perfect. There is nothing i can say that i would change! The neighborhood is quaint and quiet, and there is a convenience store right across the street. The real star here is, of course, the property itself. Incredible sunsets in the evening and sunrise each morning. It is unusual to be situated where you can see both! Since the property is located lakeside, it was so calming to watch the water. The accomodations were top notch, the kitchen was stocked with any and everything you could ever need. The owners were responsive and so kind.

Lake Erie gem!

I had the most marvelous week at this property! If I could give it six stars, I would! It is comfortable and homey, a perfect place to relax and unplug. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need if you feel like cooking. And there’s some great restaurants, too-just ask Kate for recommendations! The view and surroundings are priceless. So beautiful! The sunsets are incredible and view of the lake is stunning. Watching the boats and the ever changing color of lake with a good cup of coffee made on the Cuisinart coffee maker was the best way to start my day. We had a little confusion on check-in that was quickly remedied. Kate is a gracious and responsive host. I will be back!

Shore View!

This home is just feet away from the lake. The weather was not good for being outside, however a wall of windows faces the lake so we could still enjoy watching the waves, the color vatiations in the water and when it did calm down: two freighters, smaller boats, a sail boat and the birds. We had everything we needed. Kate started us out with a delicious treat! We struggled with the technology of the tv, but that is our own fault as we do not use streaming services at home and so the learning curve is there for us. We look forward to going back if it is available again.

Great lakeside getaway

Such an easy process checking in. There were English muffins and coffee waiting in the fridge for us. We would love to come back when it’s a little warmer so we could sit out back and listen to the water.
