Family trip

Had a wonderful family trip! Great location, friendly neighbors, and low crowds allowed us a great vacation! Also enjoyed watching dolphins from our condo!

AMAZING

This condo was BEAUTIFUL! Right on the beach, water views from front and back, beautifully decorated and clean, close to some activities and so convenient for beach and pool time. We would GLADLY stay here again!

Very Nice

Thoroughly enjoyed the condo. It looked like it had been redone inside recently with all new paint, décor, bedding, etc. Very comfortable place and nice views.

2024 Vacay

Loved Life’s Porpoise. It’s a beautiful condo, well decorated, and extremely clean. Just the right size for our family of 4, but I think 6 people would be just as comfortable. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, Restful, and Fun!

I stayed here in May with my 85-year old mother. We loved everything about this unit: the quiet, the restful decorations, the privacy, and the AMAZING beds! Rarely have I slept so well when traveling. The entire unit was exceptional! It was our first trip to the Outer Banks area, and we loved it! We stayed busy almost every day of our trip seeing all the historical sights, although we did get in a few long beach walks.

wonderful rental in Nag's Head

Beautiful condo in a great location. Immaculate with a beachy decor. Very comfortable. Best view of the ocean imaginable. A few very inexpensive provisions should be included: - dishwashing soap and sponge or brush - a couple additional packets of dishwasher powder - hand soap - salt and pepper, sugar - aluminum foil All in all, we had a great holiday at Life's Porpoise !

Nice place

Positive: Beautiful view, great location, very comfortable condo. Negative: Wi-Fi didn’t work, nothing stocked in the way of trash bags, seasonings, coffee, filters, cleaning supplies, toiletries, paper towels or pillow cases for the extra pillows there. 5 pm check-in time is too late and 9 am check-out is too early.

Great place and vacation !

Place is exactly like pictures. Very clean. Great location. 3rd floor view is awesome for sunsets and sunrises. The luggage elevator did not work so carrying up luggage was tricky! We would suggest offering a small container with dish soap since you are required to have all dishes cleaned and put away before checkout at 9am. And provide one laundry pod if you require the kitchen towels to be washed/dried and put away before the 9am check out as well. Surprised we had to make our own beds upon arrival as well. Otherwise would definitely stay here again if we return to OBX.

Beautiful condo and great location!

We spent one week in mid-May (4 adults). Property was very clean and beautifully decorated. Beds were extremely comfortable and no noise from other units or from outside. Kitchen is so well stocked - everything you could want. Would highly recommend this condo for rental. A couple of minor things - there is no mirror in the second bedroom which would be helpful. The light switches near the doors in the bedrooms do not turn on any lights - each light has to be manually turned on. There is a strange feedback from the TV in the second bedroom....a bit annoying. And the description of the property made one believe that the condo pool (community pool) would be open, but it was not. It was too cold to swim anyways but would be helpful to know what to expect. The location was great and easy to access restaurants and stores. The lift was exceptionally helpful for getting luggage and essentials up to the 3rd floor.

Very Nice Unit for Young People

Everything in the unit appeared to be new. Nicely decorated and comfortable. Spacious. Lovely view. However- the lack of elevator is inconvenient and the luggage lift was helpful but terribly slow. Neither bedroom is oceanfront and the balcony - which has nice chairs, is small and is shaded from mid morning on. The beach access is not boarded or maintained. Biggest concern was that the thermostat was programmed and at times it was 66 degrees (cool!) But later in stay 70 degrees at night (warm!). My first experience with a unit that didn't allow the visitors to control the temp. I understand why this might be good for the owners - but believe there should be some range of temps allowed. Overall, the unit really is nice but I would not elect to return.
