This was such a wonderful place to stay. So clean and such a great set up. The kitchen was large. We cooked all our meals together. Great patio with plenty of room and a bbq and a flat top! We had a great time by the fire pit. Lara communicated very well and Jennifer came quickly when we needed something! Jennifer also went far beyond what was expected! Such an incredible person! Would highly recommend!

This is the 4th year our family (3 generations including the grandkids, now ages 5-8) have spent a long weekend at this large, beautiful, and comfortable house. This year we enjoyed a relaxing time, as always, and also loved seeing a great blue heron by the pond and a doe walking through the yard. We definitely hope to return.

The Langley retreat is an exceptional property. The home is expansive with multiple bedrooms, each having its own bath and fireplace. Our group consisted of 16 family members, we all loved it. Upon our arrival, everything was clean and our host provided great instructions on how to find everything to go about the business of having fun, reconnecting and enjoying this wonderful home. From A-to-Z nearly everything we needed was provided. We all loved the immense farm table in the kitchen, it was the central gathering place for our family to talk, enjoy meals and play games. The host is exceptional. She responds quickly to any question you may have. The grounds are immaculate and equipped with barbecues, hammocks and outdoor games as well as a wonderful fire pit and pond. This property is uniquely beautiful and without hesitation I would recommend a stay. When we return to Seattle to visit our family and friends this will be the first property we will think of when booking a stay.

Every year we host a yoga retreat at Langley Retreat Center, and it continues to be a beautiful and special place to gather and practice with our community. The space feels both peaceful and inspiring.Lara and Jen are wonderful to work with — responsive, kind, and supportive throughout the entire process. Our attendees consistently comment on the beauty of the property and the home.We are truly grateful for this special space and look forward to returning each year.

it was a wonderful reunion of friends who we have been together for many many years and it was just a perfect place to host the gathering. The host were very gracious and the place was immaculate and had everything available for us to use. It made it for a very magical weekend.

Amazing venue for a women’s retreat

Our yoga retreat group loved our star at Lara’s place. The property is gorgeous and perfect for large groups. Communication with the host was very easy throughout our stay. The place felt like home!

Forever memories were had by all of us age 2 to 60. It was a magical place to spend amazing time together with the whole family… We definitely will be back.

This property was perfect for our large family. Spacious bedrooms and gorgeous bathrooms. Large kitchen with plenty of dishes. Lovely indoor and outdoor spaces to gather. Kids loved their private corner of the house. We could not have been happier and we are already looking forward to our next stay.

A fabulous property for larger groups. We were a group of seven on a writer’s retreat. Each had her own bedroom with en-suite bathroom. There were lots of areas inside and out set up for larger groups: seating areas, oversized tables, huge kitchen with 10 burner gas stove, lovely bedding and comfortable mattresses. Lovely grounds. Just a delightful property.

Whidbey Wonderland

We were thrilled with the Langley Retreat for our family gathering. Plenty of room and a bed for everyone. Having 2 kitchens was a real bonus and the wisteria covered patio space was lovely and accommodated our large family. I highly recommend the Retreat for families and larger groups.

Great Extended Family Stay

This property is perfect for our extended family. Rain or shine it works fine for our preschool and early elementary school grandkids. There are lots of places for everyone to gather, as well as get away for quiet time. It’s also fun to go wine tasting nearby.

Great Place

A wonderful place for friends or family. Each bedroom is nicely furnished and has an in-suite bathroom. The kitchen is huge and has everything needed for any sized group. Deer were on the property eating fruit from the trees every day.

Family get together

All 17 of us so much enjoyed all the many amenities to the property . Kids even stayed off their devices for much of the time! Great gathering :everyone said how much they will treasure our stay .

Great for Group Travel!

What a wonderful property! The private bedrooms plus the shared spaces made our 11 person group vacation so enjoyable. We loved having the instruments to play, the piano itself brought hours of joy! These were the most comfortable beds and bedding that any of our group has encountered in a hotel or B&B. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wedding weekend and family togetherness

Yoga with friends!

Eight middle school teachers got away from me he madness of the world for a fabulous weekend of yoga, homemade food, and lots of laughs! We loved each having our own private room and bathroom. We’ll be back!

Lovely Retreat for Relaxation

We enjoyed our stay at the Langley Retreat Center. We felt so at home - maybe even more rested and restored. The home was clean, fully stocked in the kitchen and living room, including yoga props. Some guests enjoyed the baby grand piano too. The rooms/beds were very comfortable. Excellent location close to the center of town and island exploration. We plan to rebook for another retreat weekend.

Perfect Place for Large Gathering

A group of old college roommates with our partners and newborns spent the weekend here and had a great time. Spacious, great bedrooms. We hired a private chef, who cooked a couple meals in the kitchen, which was large enough to comfortably handle the large meals. Backyard is great for lawn games. And Lara and Jennifer were communicative and very helpful. Would definitely recommend renting.
