This cabin was the perfect getaway. The setting was beautiful, and it had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the seclusion and quiet, peaceful atmosphere. We highly recommend this cabin and look forward to staying here again in the future.

It was a great stay. Place was just as listed. If you’re looking for a place that’s quiet and still close to a lot of hiking and fun places this is the one for you. We didn’t have any issues at all!

My wife and I had an excellent time at Ursa Major! Very comfortable property, excellent views, plenty of accessibility to nearby attractions. Would definitely recommend!

Great cabin in Red River Gorge area. Host very responsive. Huge area around cabin which is great if you have a pet. Nice fire pit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was clean and had well-furnished kitchen. The hot tub is a nice addition to soothe sore muscles after hiking. We saw an indigo bunting, deer and fawn, and group of turkeys with young.

great cabin and location

The cabin is exactly as advertised and as reviewed by others. Nice private location at the top of the hill with land all around; cabin is nicely appointed and just like the pictures and description say; excellent location for hiking in the Red River Gorge. We really enjoyed our stay.

Red River Gorge Retreat

My husband, myself, and our dog stayed here for a weekend of hiking in Red River Gorge. The location is pretty close to all of the trails we hiked and the house itself was perfect for coming back at night to relax.

Modern but rustic!

Loved the style of this place! Kitchen and living area especially - and the high ceilings make it feel bigger than it is. Bed was comfortable and the sofa was nice to relax in as well. Perfect location for where we wanted to hike.
