Very private and quiet surroundings, hearing sounds of loons calling for each other. Have a nice dinner on the screened porch with a comfortable wicker sectional. Enjoy gorgeous sunsets with a fire overlooking the lake from the patio. Dock available right on property to accommodate up to 24’ boat with a canoe and 2 kayaks for you to use. Great hiking in the area and castle in the clouds only 2 miles away. You can hike Mt Major, Red Hill or Bald Knob only 15-20 minutes away.
Wi-Fi available. Minimum two nights, but trust me you’ll want to stay longer. My rates have increased due to VRBO increased fees☹️

My wife and I loved it here!! We brought our dog Jack and enjoyed every minute of our trip! The host, Jeannie, was super responsive and even sent some recommendations for food in the area. Absolutely recommend!!

The camp was overall as described, quiet and beautiful view. The king size bed was both appreciated and most comfortable, was the first time that I ever had to bring our own linens. (sheets and towels), my husband thought that for the money this should have been supplied. We did lose power for an hour or so, on a very windy day and no fault to our hosts. Jeannie was very responsive to any communications. Especially enjoyed watching the 2 loons that came to visit off the dock every day. I would definitely stay again!

Beautiful place right on the lake . The house is comfortable and kitchen area was very user friendly . The screened in porch is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunset . We also enjoyed the close proximity to The Castle in the Clouds and The Loon Center . We appreciate being able to stay at a place that is pet friendly .

Clean, comfortable, private spot with fabulous views and great water access. Everything you want in a lakeside retreat. We had a wonderful weekend spending time as a family and would not hesitate to book again. Thank you!

This home was exactly as pictured and described. The size of the dock to sit by the water was a welcome surprise. Owner responded quickly and so nice to work with. Highly recommend this home. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful lakeside home

Clean and well appointed home. Steps to the beach with access to kayaks and a canoe. The house is close (20 minutes) to restaurants and hiking. Would definitely come back again.

Great getaway!

We loved this cozy spot right on the lake, even through a rainy weekend! We got a canoe ride in and enjoyed coffee on the dock. We spent lots of time in front of the fire and a good amount of time on the screened-in porch playing board games. Bed was very comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed for our stay.

Rustic LakeFront

Great location, beautiful views, accessible to some wonderful hikes. My ask for the future, the owners should think about providing wifi for guests, asking them to use a hotspot for wifi is not ideal, especially for those of us without unlimited data plans.

Summer Fun Lakeside!

My family and I enjoyed a long weekend together enjoying the lake, restaurants, pontoon sightseeing and nightly smores on firepit! The cozy screened in porch facing the lake was perfect to watch boats day and in the evening! Thank you! We will be back!

Wonderful location. Cottage is old but nice. Needs improvement in spare bunk room and bathroom could use a major upgrade. The rest of the cottage was very nice. Outdoor area was also very nice.

Perfect rustic retreat

Lovely cottage with delightful screened porch and views of the lake. We enjoyed the fire pit and dock, and kayaked every morning (brought our own but house has two available). Great communication with host. Only suggestions for improved experience would be an updated shower head in bathroom and access to Wi-Fi.
