We loved this property. The views are beautiful. Our son enjoyed fishing in the pond and we had a great time making s’mores in the fire pit. The house is very well stocked with anything you might need. It has beautiful picture windows and is very clean. It is located less than 10 min.from the entrance of Yellowstone, which is very convenient. It’s an amazing place to stay. We highly recommend.

Amazing house near Yellowstone West Entrance

Amazing house, very confortable, very clean, super well equipped. Host was great very fast responding. Location is great very quiet and private but also very convenient for Yellowstone visit.

Great house

Beautiful house with beautiful view of the area. Slightly outside the town which was fantastic for a family that wanted to away from town, but not too isolated.

This is a beautiful home in an incredible setting. You won’t believe how amazing the views are. The house is great and exactly as advertised. Check in and out was perfectly smooth. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay

Our family really enjoyed this property. The kitchen was well supplied and the access to laundry was much appreciated after long hikes. We did have campfires which was really nice. A couple suggested improvements - one bathroom needs a door for added privacy and the TV/tech setup could use an upgrade. All in all we had a great stay.

80th Birthday Trip

The home was beautiful, unique and cozy. It was perfect for family time, sleeping, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Close enough to town and the park entrance for Convenience but just far enough away for peace and quiet!! We had the sweetest time celebrating my Dad’s 80th birthday!

Unique property

We enjoyed this unique home and the lovely setting. It was close to the West Yellowstone entrance and we had a great time there. A Buffalo walked through the yard on our last evening and it really gave us a thrill to see him! We would definitely come back.

You Otter enjoy this lovely Otter Place!

The home exceeded our expectations! It was the perfect setting for a family gathering to celebrate our dad’s 80th birthday on golden pond! Proximity to Yellowstone National Park, town, and airport made travel very easy. We would definitely stay again. Our time was too short to explore everything on our list. It was nice to return to the house and grill a dinner under the brightest stars imaginable! Thank you for sharing a clean, comfortable and welcoming place to relax and connect with family!

Hunters dream

The house layout was very nice, the house was clean, the dead and stuffed animals that greeted us at the front door and every room there after, creeped 2 of my children out. My husband I loved the views of the house and the fishing, the drive in and out of town wasn’t too bad, especially because we don’t love crowds, and being that far out, gave us time to breathe.

Overall we had a great stay

The only thing we didn’t love about our stay was that there was no air conditioning in the home (which may have been listed when we booked the property and we just missed it) but we didn’t expect not having air conditioning and it was very hot during our stay. The property manager was very quick to respond and brought us more fans to cool off the home immediately!

Beautiful Yellowstone Escape!

We loved staying at Otter Lodge during our time in Montana! Check-in and coordination through Roam Property Management was very simple with great communication throughout. The home had a well-appointed kitchen (we cooked multiple meals and had everything we needed), comfortable beds and living areas, and plenty of other appointments. The property itself is a big highlight -- the house sits on a large property at the edge of a very small cluster of homes, so you have gorgeous mountain/plain vistas to the north and very little intrusion by neighbors or others. We loved watching sunrises, sunsets, and nightly swooping bat shows from the ample windows around the home. The amount of taxidermy throughout the property can be a bit jarring at first, but fades quickly once you orient yourself. A perfect jumping off point for adventure in West Yellowstone and beyond, and a great reflection of the Montana area.

The location was great! We are so glad we chose this location which has excellent views of the mountains and a short drive from downtown West Yellowstone. Only an hour from Old Faithful. The house was very clean and organized. We loved the fully equipped kitchen and large gas grill and used them daily for cooking all our meals. We were pleased that there were cast iron pans available. The master bedroom was spacious with walk in closet and comfortable shower. We appreciated that extra towels and cleaning supplies that were provided and the large laundry room. Hello sunshine! The living room has large, uncovered windows that lend to beautiful views. The sun was bright and filled the living room with light and warmth. There are no window coverings in the living and dining rooms. We loved walking around this property, seeing wildlife, and the sound of the running water from the small dam. We highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit Yellowstone or Montana.

Amazing house, spectacular views

We had a wonderful time at Otter Lodge. The house is immaculate and very well taken care of. There is a ton of room inside and out. My kids fished every night and had a great time climbing on all the rocks. We made sure to come back in time every night to watch the sunset over the mountains. We will make this a must stay from now on every time we come to Yellowstone. It’s the perfect location and provides everything you need. If you’re on the fence, book it! You won’t regret it.

Amazing home!

We were so impressed with this property. I do not have a negative thing to say about Otter Lodge. The home was clean, well stocked, and perfectly located near the west entrance of Yellowstone. The fields behind the property had horses that would roam every evening. Views were absolutely stunning! We used the firepit every evening to watch the sunset. If you're considering this property, book it now. It was amazing and we would love to visit again.
