We had a great time! Great swimming pool! Easy access directly to the beach. Plenty of space for the whole family. Everything you need is there for a great beach vacation! We would definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful place. Everything was perfect. Had everything we needed! Location was so relaxing. Short walk to the beach. The pool was awesome. Great trip!

Well maintained, clean, and comfortable house. Perfect place for family vacations away from the ruckus of condos and cramped beaches. Kitchen was well equipped and the toy room had everything needed for the beach. Alex worked very well with us due to the hurricane delays as well.

Our family very much enjoyed our stay! The pool, the beach, and space for everyone made it a great place! The owner was great to work with and eager to make sure there were no issues!

Wonderful beach duplex right on the beach. Home was well stocked, beds were comfortable and home was clean. We would definitely stay here again.

House was clean when we checked in. Location was incredible as was amenities. Air conditioning was amazing. The heated pool was perfect. I can not say enough good things about the rental, I would absolutely come back for another vacation.

Great for families!

We had 3 families with 7 kids age ranges (0-4) and this place was great for us! Being right on the beach was perfect and everything provided was so convenient and helpful!

Great location

Great location , nice house for our family of 14, Beach 20 yards out the back door, pool in back yard for evening hangouts for the teens, tv in each room and walkable restaurant. Short drive for retail shopping and other attractions

Alex was amazing in making sure that we were well taken care of. The house was so clean. The beds were very comfortable. The pool was perfect. The sun rise was a beautiful view from the deck. I cannot wait to stay in Parrot #8 again.

We had a wonderful experience!! Very Clean!! The beach view was beautiful and you walk out directly onto the beach!! Beautiful pool and very clean!! Alex, your host, was fantastic!! When I would text him, he always texted back quickly and I texted him a lot with questions. Very patient!!!I encourage you to stay in Pelican 8!!! It was a fantastic week!!!

Beautiful home and perfect location! The description of the home is accurate. It was spacious and clean! I loved that there were beach chairs, towels, and toys for the kids. We will definitely return.

Family vacay 2024

We loved the property, it was great for our family! We have 6 grandchildren and loved being on the beach and close to everything! Walked for ice cream almost everyday!! Plenty of room and well stocked kitchen and beach closet.

First Family Vacay in 10

The location of the property was great! The property overall was great. The owner was great when an issue arose with our shared pool. The amount of kitchen supplies was outstanding! The grill was put to good use. The bedrooms were nice. My family really enjoyed our vacation.

Location, Location, Location

Alex was great to work with, the place was in a great location, the pool was outstanding, walking to the beach anytime you felt like it was perfect, the kitchen was well stocked with every dish we needed, the grill worked great, the closet with beach stuff to use was bonus, the extra drink refrigerator was extremely useful, and even our neighbors were outstanding. Highly recommend this rental!

Pool time was awesome and the ocean view was amazing. The only suggestion I would have would be to have a wooden walkway out to the beach but I know that would be a large expense. Beautiful property and the host Alex was great to work with and very clear on expectations. We will definitely be back!

Family friendly beach house

Our family rents a beach house every year for our summer vacation and this property is our absolute favorite! The house easily accommodated our large family. The children enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the swimming pool right off the deck was a huge hit. The beach was not crowded at all due to the location. The owner quickly responded to our questions. We definitely recommend this beautifully decorated house. It had everything we needed or wanted including the bonus beach closet of toys and chairs.

Blissful Beach Home

I would rent this again. We had one minor issue and Alex sent the handyman to fix it within a few hours. The property is welll maintained. The kitchen is the best stocked rental kitchen I have ever had. The view is amazing. There are tons of pool toys. They let you crank down the AC unlike some owners that lock you on on high heat.

Perfect family choice for ocean and pool and convenience

My family arrived at BlueParrot #8 finding a vacation home perfect for all of our needs. Kitchen was well equipped & 1st floor bedroom& full bath was much appreciated for grandparents. The view was lovely & We loved the area, having mostly families as well as convenience store within short walking distance, as well as ice cream. The pool shared by the duplex neighbors was heated & perfect for option when beach was off limits because of rip current. Alex was available and met our needs when we reported small maintenance issues. We would definitely choose this place again, as the location, view, and layout of the space was perfect for our family of 10.

Only one complaint

The only problem that we had was the lack of privacy on the deck. There needs to be some sort of a divider from the adjoining deck. We couldn’t hang out on the deck without having strangers there with us.

Thanks for feedback. We have considered placing a permanent divider between the decks but some guests say that will block the view. I am looking into a divider that can be raised and lowered so that it can be used when desired. Glad your group had a great time. Please come again soon.

Seattle WA & Missouri trip to Alabama

Three families: 6 adults, 5 children included grandparents, son & daughter's families ranging in age from 2 to 11. Wonderful time. Plenty of pots/pans/dishes & utensils. Enough room for everyone, very well laid out. What you see is what you get - very nice! Owners gave heads-up on one lighting issue and it was addressed immediately. They are Great communicators. A week before our arrival they sent email with links to local activities - reinforced our planned activities and allowed us to reserve one activity in advance. Overall a great experience. I would go there again in a heartbeat.
