This is convenient to the river and the county activities. We enjoyed our stay in this sweet house. Mornings and evenings on the screen porch were particularly fine. The clear communication, the clean house and the well ordered set up were appreciated. A lovely time.

This is such a charming place! Quiet area with lots of privacy. Home was exactly as described with a nice homey vibe. This place had everything we needed and more. Especially with the little extra touches to make you feel welcome and more comfortable. If we are ever in need of a place in this area again, I wouldn't hesitate to book it again.

We were able to get away for a few days! We enjoyed the nearby springs and the ability to come back to have home cooked meals in a beautiful cottage! Everything was wonderful and the owners were very accommodating and communicative!

Very quiet. Lots of deer in the area. Very laid back community. Santa Fe river was low which made it crystal clear and beatiful.

Awesome weekend getaway!

We stayed here 2 nights so we could kayak the river. The property is clean and well-equipped. We plan on coming back soon, this is perfect for a weekend trip!

This was our third stay at this property and we just love how peaceful it is. At night all we could hear were birds, frogs, and bugs singing…really nice! Cute kitchen has everything you need, we go up to Publix for food so we don’t have to eat out at every meal. Even though this is kind of a remote area the WiFi works great, I took an online exam for school and no issues! I love the upgraded lock for the front door, no more worrying about losing the key! Plenty of room to relax inside or outside with large screened in areas both upstairs and downstairs. In the past we have kayaked the Santa Fe and ended our paddle at the boat ramp right down the road so it was super easy to cart our kayaks back to the house. We always visit High Springs to eat at The Great Outdoors and ice cream afterwards. Visiting Ft. White is always a welcome respite from congested Pinellas County where we live.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Huck's Hideaway! This lovely, quiet home is the perfect base camp for exploring several springs and state parks in a very close proximity. While relaxing at the house, we saw turkeys, deer and a huge barrred owl. We hope to come back and would highly refer/recommend this lovely home and property. TY!

Family Trip

Short 2 day stay to visit the springs with grandchildren. Beautiful spot, the kids loved walking to the river. Even met some locals who were friendly and answered all the kids questions.😊

Beautiful and peaceful!

The owners were amazing and helpful! It was fully stocked with everything we needed! It was close to all of the local springs and destinations. We will be staying here again the next time we come to Ginnie Springs!

We had a nice relaxing weekend in our home away from home! We visited the nearby springs and it was just a hop to get home! The hosts were communicative and welcoming! Thanks for the wonderful stay!
