Super private cabin nestled in the woods. It is the closest cabin to the Elk Visitors Center. If you don't mind the hills, you could easily walk to the Center! Perfect for a couples get-away. Relax and enjoy the quaint atmosphere with vaulted ceilings, rough cut beams, full kitchen, authentic 100 year old tin ceilings and tree tops out every window! Sleep in an antique bed while embracing modern conveniences. Beautiful year round location to sit on the porch with coffee or enjoy the firepit on cool evenings. Perfect cabin where rustic meets romance. All of this with a gas pot-bellied fireplace. So close to everything, yet so private.

A great little get-away

A Quiet Retreat

A great place to relax and celebrate our wedding anniversary. We saw a woodpecker and deer each day right outside the window. The cabin was super clean and beautifully decorated. We hope to return.

Mini Honeymoon Getaway

My husband and I stayed here after we got married for a short trip away to explore Benezette. The location cannot be beat! Under a mile from the Elk Visitor Center and we could hear the elk bugling from our cabin. The cabin is absolutely precious, a great size and very homey! We would love to come back ❤️

Beautiful cabin in Benezette, PA

This quaint cabin was just perfect for a week getaway. Great location and decorated to fit the Elk County atmosphere. Comfortable and cozy. We highly recommend this cabin for an “off the grid” experience. Firewood provided with a fire ring. Great way to relax.

Awesome getaway

We were there to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary so we wanted someplace special and we were very happy with everything! Sitting outside by the fire at night and listening to the elk bugle was amazing. We would highly recommend!!

Birthday weekend

It was such a cozy cabin and tucked into the woods just enough for some privacy. Dean and Christy are awesome hosts. They even delivered a birthday cake for us to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We liked it so well we already booked it for next year. We can’t wait to go back. What a great weekend.

We are a local family who knows this area well. Once you have decided to stay in our quaint cabin on Winslow Hill, we can offer advise on the best places to see elk, enjoy the local breakfasts, dinners, wineries or hunting areas.

We knew when we decided to build a cabin, that location is the most important factor, so we certainly wanted Winslow Hill, home of the Elk Herd. There is an elk trail that goes right by the front corner window of the cabin, maybe they will come visit you!
