The house was big, clean and well equipped, especially the kitchen, which is super important when you have a lot of people to feed. Very roomy bedrooms, wide staircases and the beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable! The pool was a perfect size when there are little ones that need attention and the water temp was perfect given the heatwave of the week prior to our stay.

Very nice property. Convenient to everything only steps away from the beach. We were very pleased with our stay. The communication with the host was outstanding and very responsive. The properties even bigger than we anticipated plenty of room. The property was clean, and the hardwood floors throughout three levels just gave it a rich feel. Would rent again!

All of our members thought that the house was beautiful. The owner and agent were very responsive whenever I had a question. The house was well-stocked but I have two suggestions:The Teflon-lined cookware is about ready for replacement because the surfaces are worn and not be safe for cooking/eating.We are a group of 15 women and to have one washcloth each was not adequate in our estimation. Our weekend was rained-out unfortunately, but had it been sunny we would have been out of luck for towels for the pool, or the beach.We didn't use the pool or grill so I can't report on those but they were there and would've been great to use.Two of our members have handicaps and the use of the chairlift was great. Also, there was an additional refrigerator in the garage. Overall, we give the property five stars because the owner was responsive, the property was stunning, and you could tell that the owner was thoughtful in providing the things most people would need. Thank you for making our stay most enjoyable.

The kids really enjoyed the heated pool since we came during a week that temps were in the low 60’s. Plenty of space and easy walk to beach and restaurants. Lots of games and pool toys for the kids!

The house was absolutely gorgeous, spacious and stocked with everything we needed. The beds were all comfortable which is a huge plus to us. This house was perfect for a long weekend for us girls. The location was great and beach access very close by. Will definitely be back.

We had 3 families at the Lucky Penny and plenty of room. We enjoyed the large covered deck with a great couch swing and sitting area was used as much as possible. We loved the large dining table that allowed our whole family to sit and eat together. The proximity to the beach was awesome, a very short walk. The house is very well stocked in the kitchen, good quality beach towels, and beach accessories (wagon, chairs, sand toys), and pool floats. The washer and dryer being on the second floor near the majority of the bedrooms was so convenient. We had a TV in our bedroom but all others would enjoyed that too. However the noise ordinance was not great, from 10pm to 10am no one is allowed to swim or to be outside on the deck. The city ordinance is til 7am but house rules are 10am and the threat of being kicked out due to violation was not relaxing, despite mowers and construction going on right after 8am each morning. Communication with Emily and Paras was easy and quick.

The Lucky Penny was just perfect! We had a great birthday weekend together with friends. Plenty of space. Great back porch. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I would definitely come back.

Perfect stay for the entire family

Location, location, location!!! Perfect house, great condition, located close to beach, restaurants and easy access to Sullivan's Island, Charleston and so many beautiful golf courses.
