Our stay was wonderful in Florissant! The cabin was so cozy and had everything you’d need. Cynthia was super kind by recommending some local things to do and see and some great food options too.

Super welcoming and cozy!! Loved the outside spaces as well, would recommend staying here! It’s also close to a bunch of different hiking trails in the area.

The cabin is very cute and very accessible and close to a lot of things. You can visit the Wolf sanctuary which is so close to the cabin. The cabin has a great 2 person swing on the front porch which is great for naps or on a hot night to sleep outside. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would need. The shower has a really cool rock made floor. The bedroom is good size and has a cute little patio with 2 chairs and a table perfect for your first cup of coffee or a cocktail or two.Cynthia the host is a very nice lady and also very responsive. Cabin is the perfect size with two separate decks, one right off the bedroom which was nice. Everything was on the same floor. Greatly appreciated that. Thought the "bed" swing and couch were unusual, but it was nice to hang out in the evening on the swing. We saw various deer, very close by, rabbits, squirrels, and even a red fox that peeked in the front glass doors. That was very cool. Everything we needed was provided. Very relaxing. If I had to pick a negative, it was the traffic noise on the main road. But there were many trees on the property, and you could not easily see a nearby house. Great trip. Great value. Would stay there again.

Great cabin away from the city

I loved staying in this quaint cabin. The area was perfect with plenty of hiking and outdoor access while not being too far away from town so we could still go in for food and other things. Would highly recommend this as a stay

Central location for exploring the area, fairly private and close to dining options in Florissant and Divide. Very grateful for pet friendly accommodation, especially when they provide a gate to keep the pups on the deck.

It was a great place at a lovely location. However the two EMPTY fire extinguishers in the house had me worried. That is a huge safety and forest fire risk.

Tranquil cabin in the woods

Very well appointed, charming cabin. Loved the two porches and the swinging bed on the front porch. Our pooch loved the property as well.

Getaway

We enjoyed this spot and the close proximity to Pikes Peak and several hiking trails. We especially enjoyed watching the deer as we relaxed on the deck.
