Cozy 2 Bed 2 Bath Lake Front Cottage

Enjoy your morning coffee while overlooking the water from the covered patio of the cozy cabin located on the banks of Grand Lake O' the Cherokees. A favorite among the locals and Members here at Safe Harbor Harbors View Marina for it's homey feel and convenience to everything you need to enjoy your lake time! The Marina Ship Store & Boutique carries milkshakes, ice cream cones, ICEEs, and much more! We also have bathing suits, sundresses, towels, sunscreen, sun glasses, snacks, etc. The Ah-sigh-ee bowls at the Ship Store soda fountain are also a fan favorite! Duck Creek Boat Club and Rentals is on site and offers tritoon, kayak, jet ski, paddleboard, paddleboat and bumper boat rentals and Blind Swine on Duck Creek (check seasonal hours) offers amazing food and cocktails al fresco with live entertainment on most weekends of the boating season! If available, the marina does offer daily ramp passes and nightly boat slip rentals. You can fish right off the bank, along the waterfront! However, fishing on the docks is not permitted.

Great little cabin

Just what we needed

This property is very basic but served our purpose for a place to sleep at night. Location was our main concern. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch overlooking the lake and docks. Adequate for what we needed. No frills.

Nice place on the lake.

Our stay was great, the property was great, we were allowed to fish and walk around the property with no issues. Only complaint was that some of the boats around us had people thy were partying a little too hard and too loud, luckily someone else contacted security and ended the issue. Place was clean and organized. We slept 5 adults and 7 children with all different age ranges comfortably. We look forward to going back in the future.

Convenient location.

Overall our stay was great. House was clean, but is very outdated. They had plenty of soft towels. Stocked with basic needs. Beds were comfy. The rooms were actually larger than they looked in the pictures. Some cons; No plugins in bathrooms. Plug in on one wall in the smaller bedroom didn’t work. We had to charge our phones in the living room bc it was difficult finding plugins. AC didn’t get super cold. The house has partial walls that don't go all the way up to the ceiling. Check in was simple & there is Parking nearby. The home is behind the marina next to boat docks. It’s way back in duck creek Cove, But you are right on the water close to the marina. You do have to do a little maneuvering for the harbors view boat ramp and it is steep, but at least it’s right by the house. Harbors view has great breakfast. A little tip: If you can, get ice somewhere else besides the marina, because I was shocked when I paid $22 for 3 bags. We had a great stay.

Great time!!

The location was great! We were able to walk to our boat every day. It was so nice to be able to leave the boat in the water and not load it up every day! The house itself was VERY clean! The kitchen at this property was large and very well stocked. I had coffee on the covered porch each morning overlooking the lake, watching the geese. Everyone at the marina was so helpful in suggesting places to eat, etc. We were very pleased!!

Idealistic cottage in the Marina.

Cute, 2BR, 2BA cottage. We really enjoyed the porch so we could easily sit outside with dogs and visit with one another and watch wildlife. Beds were clean and comfortable. Plenty of supplies to use. Economical. We could hear the bands from the nearby Marina, which we enjoyed as it wasn’t too loud. Everyone, including the staff and those visiting were very friendly and in relaxed lake mode. 👍👍👍👍👍

Duck Creek bungalow

Found the place very clean and economical. More than comfortably slept the 4 of us! Weather turned off so the crappie fishing wasn't as good as I'd hoped but the relaxation, reading, internet surfing, 2000 calorie breakfasts we made for ourselves....all good...Will likely stay again
