Fully renovated house, new appliances. Modern decor with manatee art. Big fenced backyard equipped with fire pit, hammock, umbrella and games, ideal for your furry friend to run around or kids to enjoy!! Plenty of parking available, also for a boat or RV. Nice quiet neighborhood, minutes away from shopping and dinning, and all the attractions Crystal River has to offer. The second bathroom is equipped with a toilet and shower. There is not a sink.

Very friendly host and very responsive. I loved the neon light in the kitchen. Inside home was very nice. Great location. Central to every place we were going .I felt that the desription of the home was a little cofunsing.. i thought the bed situation was different and maybe it was me. The house was set up a little odd. I felt like i was kinda walking in circles.The backyard was beautifully done w hammock and fire pit. The porch was dirty. Floors not swept and ping pong table needed a good washing. Overall I would say this was a great place to stay . Great price! Great location

Good location!

My family came to Crystal River to do a little shopping, outdoor activities and to see the manatees. It was nice to have the home to ourselves, and it was so cute and embraced the manatee theme! Very nice backyard for the dogs with a great fire pit. There was plenty of wood, but it was outside the master bedroom so we did have some bugs inside. Definitely room for a wheelchair in the kitchen and family room area, but the rest was too tight for a wheelchair. Neighborhood is quiet and conveniently located to do everything we wanted. Only negative really was not knowing how to get in the home when we got there. I did not receive a message and we had to figure out how to contact the owner. After that, it was fine. Would recommend.

Could have been great

Check in was ok but involved keys instead of a key pad. The availability of eating utensils, like 5 large plates, 2 bowls, silverware was cheap and limited. Only one dish towel and I had to buy more. The backyard was a lot of dirt and tree logs. One large gate that was very difficult to actually lock. Two of the gates were not closed completely and my dog got out. Dirt and sand came in the house each home my dog went out in the yard. The only thing to clean it up was an old worn broom. No vacuum!Thermostat battery was dead. Large coffee pot with no filters available. I think it’s been a long time since they tried “Be your guest”.

Loved the property! Clean and comfortable. Had more problem communicating through Google. Rather communicate by phone messaging. Manager was very responsive once we got through to her Thank you for the great stay!!

Was a very nice place. Recommend it. Close to everything in Crystal River. Plenty of space for my 22' boat and truck.

Inaccurate listing and had bugs in bedroom

Upon entering the house we found that there was only 3 beds (instead of the 5 that’s listed in listing) it says it sleeps 8 but only can sleep 6. When my daughter pulled back the blanket in the Murphy bed there was red bugs all over the sheets, the window sill, the ground . There is a gap in the window allowing all of bugs to come in. They moved to the living room With the mattresses and as they slept they were woken by bugs on their face and arms. The games in back yard was missing a corn hole board and there was no hammock to be found unfortunately. My 17 year old ended up in the bathroom trying to sleep to get away from the bugs. Trash was not removed from the previous occupants, leaving Tito’s bottles and alcohol in the trash (we have 3 people in recovery so this wasn’t the best thing to find) I never leave bad reviews but this was a horrible experience that left my entire family in the living room sleeping with one eye open in fear of bugs crawling on them. I would love to say the couch allowed someone to sleep on but it’s a couch with square individual pieces that come together to make up the couch but it doesn’t connect so as my 14 year old slept the couch pushed apart leaving 4-6 in gaps in between the pieces. Absolutely no one got a good nights sleep. Highly disappointed I spent this much money for such poor conditions. Positive note- the house was decently cleaned and decor was great. Landscaping needs upkeep but the back yard is nice for kids to run around in

Poor Experience

Interior of home was clean, but the back porch was dirty and looked like it had not been cleaned in years. The grass was so high that our dog of ten pounds would get lost in it. We love being outdoors and this was a big turn off.

Perfect little place

Perfect house for our family of 4 and our pups! Very clean and close to everything. Nice big backyard for the kids to play and the dogs to run. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a cozy place for vacation. Thanks for letting us stay at the “House of Manatees”

Beautifully renovated and conveniently located

Renovated house in a suburban neighborhood in close driving distance to Crystal River. My husband said he felt like he was in a HGTV reveal. Would be great for family with teens or tweens visiting the manatees at Three Rivers Spring.

What a great stay and this freshly remodeled vacation home. The location was perfect. Close to a lot of attractions and a great back yard for entertainment. Owners were nice and very responsive.

We created a cozy stay, yet with all the amenities required to have a great, comfortable time. The house is located in a safe neighborhood and has lots of room to relax, play and enjoy!
