Lovely property

We really enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and the property had everything we needed. The hosts were great and the location beautiful. Will definitely recommend and will stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is lovely, mere steps from the bay and views of spectacular sunsets. The hosts were quick to respond to our queries and extremely helpful. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The bay is perfect for early morning walks, kiddos digging in the sand, and sunset. For swimming and larger waves, we drove to the point for the day (easily accessible from the house). Overall, a wonderful spot for a family trip.

Wonderful house and location

This beautiful house was perfect. More than enough room for our family of 4 adults and 3 children. The location is great, beautiful veiw of the bay, away from the busy hubbub of the city of Cape May, but a short drive there. Local eateries close by. The house is spic and span clean and the hosts helpful with our questions.

A beautiful house that does not support water sportsWe found Sunset 7 to be a beautiful house into which the owner has obviously put much money and thought. However, for a number of reasons, it did not work for my family.Although its water-front location demanded a premium rental price, the location was not compatible with my family's focus on water sports. The gently-sloping shore and the 4-foot tides resulted in very shallow water at high tide and a long stretch of unwalkable muck at low tide. Both conditions made swimming impossible and small boat use either difficult or impossible. This would explain why during our 7-day stay, we did not see any swimming along the beach and only one instance of kayak use. In our experience, this is very unusual for a water-front rental property.From the description of the property, we did not appreciate the modest nature of the two downstairs bedrooms. My wife and I would have liked to use the beautiful upstairs suite but the stairs presented an obstacle. Consequently, we used the small downstairs queen bedroom. The bed was excellent but the cooling provided by the central air conditioning was, at best, marginal. The arrangement of the two lavish upstairs bedrooms was unusual. The occupants of the king bedroom had to walk through the queen bedroom to exit. We did take advantage of the house's convenient location relative to both Wildwood and Cape May.I was very impressed with how responsive the host was to our needs,

Premier stay with family

Three generations of family enjoyed a week together in this lovely, high amenities home on the water. The house had large open areas inside and out for family gatherings. Teens enjoyed exploring high and low tides and adults spent sunset hours with cocktails and making memories. The large upstairs entertainment made a rainy afternoon a movie adventure enjoyed in large comfortable seating and Big tv.. Cape May Beach not far but we enjoyed not being too close to crowds and loved the natural beauty of the area. The host was most helpful and quick to answer questions before and at arrival. Very secure, clean, comfortable place to be.

Very nice getaway

We enjoyed our stay in this nice, quiet neighborhood. The house was comfortable and the views were terrific, especially the sunsets, which you can enjoy from either the lower deck, the upper deck or from inside the airconditioned living room. Our time during the day was mostly spent in Cape May since our kids wanted to spend time at the ocean side in the bigger waves. That was a relatively short drive to from this house. There are some great restaurants that are also not that far away, although nothing was really walking distance. Our hosts were very quick to respond to any questions we had and we had no complaints there.

First rate beach location; loved the private setting, low traffic area, the showy sunsets, gulls, sandpipers & bunnies We were not provided much information on the house layout specifics beforehand but I would have appreciated noting of steep stairs to second floor; two step-downs on the main floor (one is steep) and microwave located in the playroom versus the kitchen area. That said, we thank our hosts for the lovely bottle of Rioja wine provided and enjoyed playing billiards with our adult children and grands. Many thanks again.AP
