The cabin was so nice. The views from the deck are absolutely breathtaking. The hot tub was such a nice touch. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the comfy kind sized bed! The fireplace was great too! Highly recommend. We will definitely stay here again!

The cabin was lovely when we got there. The view was great and the whole place was clean! The hosts were really friendly too! There was even a cabin journal inside where we could write down how our vacation went and read about past renters vacations, which was a really great idea!

The house was clean and stocked with all necessities. The view was incredible. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and chipmunks. The location of the house was convenient to Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain, waterfalls, and several other places we explored. The deck was perfect to relax in the hot tub or experience the peacefulness of the mountains. Great place!

This place was perfect for our stay. It is perfectly secluded but not too far from Blowing Rock proper. The view from the deck and hot tub was wonderful. Owner/property manager (?) was very responsive and dealt with one issue we had same day. We would love to go back to this place!

Exactly as described. Beautiful views, comfortable hot tub, cozy gas fireplace with automatic timer, all the kitchens items we needed, a free coffee bar and welcome chocolates with a bottle of wine. The Wi-Fi was excellent and we enjoyed the cable and board games. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Please take heed of the notice about the winding dirt roads and possibly needing a four wheel drive. We had no problems at all except for one tight turn because we have a very large F-350 with a 9 foot long truck bed. It was absolutely worth the extra effort on the drive up.

O’Connors Retreat was wonderful! Owners were very responsive and the cabin was very well-appointed with everything you could possibly need. The view from that porch-oh man! Whether it’s beautiful or rainy, that covered porch can’t be beat. The road up to the place has a couple of hairpin turns but not bad at all. So convenient to beautiful Blowing Rock but I wouldn’t have any trouble staying at the cabin for the entire trip. Book this place and you wont regret it!!

Beautiful home with an amazing view of the mountain range. We loved the outdoor hot tub, and throughout the house it has such a great feel with the natural wood, creative decorations and comfortable feel. Take your whole family there!

Wonderful View - Great Location
