We take concerns about the condition of our home very seriously. After receiving your feedback, we had the property thoroughly inspected by our cleaning team. At that time, they were only able to detect a very faint odor near the downstairs doorway. We believe the moisture may have resulted from a door being left open during rain, allowing moisture to enter the home. As an additional precaution, we have placed a dehumidifier in the area to help ensure the home remains dry and comfortable. Regarding the pest concern, the home is professionally treated by a pest-control company every three months, and we have maintained this regular service for the past four years. We have not had an ongoing issue with active pests. As is common with coastal properties, an occasional palmetto bug can unfortunately make its way inside, but our regular pest-control service is specifically intended to keep these occurrences to a minimum. We appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention and giving us the opportunity to investigate and address them. We want every guest to have a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay, and we have taken additional steps to ensure the home is ready for our future guests.
