Great location. Very quiet. Lots of birds fly over the river, which we had a front row view from the very big outside deck. Lots of space inside.

We've stayed here multiple times, its our go to place in the area. You won't be disappointed if you stay here. It's close to everything, many good places to eat, shop & explore. Whenever we go to D-town area we stay here if its available. Michele the Host is awesome.

Beautiful setting. Secluded yet minutes to walk into town for coffee and restaurants. Enjoyed the sunrise on the large deck overlooking the Brandywine Creek. Watching the Mallards, Eagle and Blue Heron fly in. Kitchen and bath well stocked with towels, blankets and supplies. Washer and dryer for your use. Driveway is a bit tricky to navigate. Great communication with host.

Very cute boat house. My husband loved fishing for trout in the river just off the deck. Nice morning walk thru Kerr park to see the bald eagle in its nest then stop for a coffee or icecream. Everything within walking distance. Loved it.

Cozy property

Brought my wife here for a birthday weekend getaway. Cozy, clean place close to great restaurants, and shopping. We had a wonderful stay!

Cool little spot

Nice little place on the creek to get away too. Clean & close to everything you would want to do from eating , shopping or outdoor adventure.

Gorgeous Chalet on the Creek

My wife and I spent the weekend in Downingtown and rented this cute little place right on the Brandywine creek. It was a perfect little escape and the owners went out of their way to make sure our stay went well. Highly recommended and hope to stay here again in the summer.

Perfect Getaway

This quaint 1 bedroom 1 bathroom house is perfect for a long weekend or week long getaway. It's right along hey beautiful creek and directly across a well maintained park.

We were in town from NC to visit the kids and grandkids. We stayed two nites. This was a great spot for 2 of us. Communication with host was easy and directions for check-in/check-out timely and precise. The house was cozy, very clean and bed very comfortable. Bathroom spacious and clean. Kitchen was well supplied. Appliances new. Very close to everywhere we wanted to be. We felt very welcomed. We look forward to coming and staying again many times. Liz and Bryon Wilson

Anniversary weekend

The Boat House was perfect for me and the wife’s getaway for the anniversary weekend. The place was very quiet and gave us the privacy we needed for our getaway weekend. The boat house was a great location within walking distance to downtown and short drive to many local attractions.

Our mini get away was perfect. The boat house was clean and comfy, overlooking the creek and nature. We went kayaking not to far, and barbecued by the creek. Bed was comfy, plenty linen. Hosts kept checking in if all was good. 5 stars

anniversary getaway

the property was a little tricky to find but once there so nice overlooking the Brandywine river. very peaceful. would definitely go there again in warmer weather to sit on the deck and enjoy the view!

Beautiful View From Deck

The Boathouse was attractive and comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay. Saw a Bald Eagle fly by on the deck! Highly recommended.
