The house had everything we needed, very comfortable and clean and the hosts were friendly and very helpful. Thank you Judy and Ivan our stay in your home made it possible for our family new years get together.

Property was great for our family stay. Plenty of room, amenities were great. Only real drawback was the backyard pool area was always so noisy as the property is adjacent to a major highway. Police and firetruck sirens constantly. Hosts are amazing to work with and were very accommodating. Even with the noise I would book this again!

Very nice clean neighborhood. The roll-in shower and no threshold doorways worked well for our wheelchair bound daughter. There was a manual hoyer lift however you need your own sling so we brought our power lift instead. Shower seat was fine. Easy trip to Disney parks.

Thanksgiving week

We had a wonderful time! The house looks more amazing than online! The furniture and paint and decor is newer than online! So much prettier in person. Everything was great!

Great title

We had a wonderful time at this home in Orlando. Before our trip, I had numerous email discussions with the owner which were delightful and extremely helpful. The owner was answered immediately when I had any concerns or questions. The listing of the home perfectly matched what we found. Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy the pool or the hot tub, because there was just no time. The place is very close to both Disney World and Universal Studios. I would recommend this vacation home to handicapped travelers and I will certainly stay there again. It was was wonderful to be in a wheelchair and stay so close to where wanted to b

This is not tranquility nor luxury

Pool area in this home is very loud. Tranquility does not come to mind when sitting outside. Behind the trees is a busy 4 lane highway with heavy traffic day and night. In our opinion the advertisement is misleading when it comes to the description of the backyard/pool situation. The home is average in our opinion. I would not recommend it based on the pool situation.

Orlando Vacation

Me and my family went on granddaughter's 18th birthday. The pictures of the house don't do it justice. The only thing was the one-bathroom needs (shower rod and toilet seat replaced) I didn't report because had 2 other bathrooms. We loved the place. All enjoyed pool when got back and the hot tub. Will definitely when back in area get this place again. I and my family recommend it highly and were grateful to have stayed there.

Our Take on the Property

House is a little tired, however we have two large dogs and the owners where ok with that. Overall, the A/C worked, the pool was warm and the shower was hot. I'd say for the money we got what we paid for.

I am sorry that you found our home tired and I contacted you for some more information about what you meant by tired considering in the past two years we have spent a small fortune on Disavillatee. These matters have now been passed to my property manager to rectify. If I had known I could have had them sorted during your stay.

when we arrived the kitchen was not clean the restrooms did not flush well the fire alarm next to the master bedroom was beeping every 30 seconds for 2 nights, we did not sleep at all

Vacation

We enjoyed our visit to Davenport but the house was not quite what what we needed. The following is the main issue. If you are looking for an accessible vacation home for an independent wheelchair user, this is NOT the place for you! We made a call to the owner to ascertain the bed height and were informed that the bed was 22 inches high. That answer was utterly deceptive as the bed height turned out to be more than 28 inches high. As a result, I was unable to transfer to the bed. Needless to say, the vacation was ruined. The pulldown shower bench is quite small, too high and the grab bar is located on the wrong side of the bench to aid in a transfer. The door to the pool area has a high threshold immediately followed by a short ramp that makes entering and exiting difficult. The home is not accessible as advertised.

Thank you very much for bringing these issues to my attention. I am very sorry that you did not enjoy your vacation but it is feedback such as this that helps us improve our property for guests. I will be visiting our property shortly and will take your comments on board and make all effort to correct the causes where possible. I also apologise that you were misled over the height of the bed in the master bedroom. As I told you when you contacted me initially , we had exactly this problem with a hotel bed height when we had a mini break last summer and I immediately addressed this issue in our villa. I have checked back in my invoices and the bed frame is 7 inches high and the mattress is 14 inches deep so all I can think is that someone has placed a mattress topper on it thus increasing the height. I can only apologise for this and if I had known during your stay I would have been able to get it sorted for you immediately. Once again, Darlene, thank you for writing to me about these issues. I greatly appreciate your feedback and will address all issues as soon as possible.

The Perfect Vacation!

Our wonderful vacation at the Merry Berry Florida home was just spectacular! From the first moment of contact with Judy, we had a perfect vacation. No wrinkles in any of our plans, and our expectations were more than met. Travelling with a person in a wheelchair is stressful to say the least, and it was terrific to arrive "home" to our vacation house late at night and see how perfect it was for us. The pool lights were on, the backdrop of the "forest" as we called it, was a lovely, relaxing setting to welcome us. We found everything we needed, from a kitchen that was well equipped to lovely linens for all the beds. We enjoyed the hot tub, which was hot, the pool which we were in everyday, and night! The trees were a beautiful background, with many birds that we watched and listened to when we were outside. The master bedroom and bathroom were perfect for the needs of our daughter, who uses a power wheelchair. Having the Hoyer lift right there was better than perfect. We enjoyed the games room, which was turned into a Man Cave for our son, who loved having his own space with such great amenities! The location of the house was great for all of our needs. We were two minutes from the Publix grocery store, and a few other services, like a bank, a gas station, restaurants, a liquor store, a pharmacy, a dollar store.....just everything you need to get yourself squared away when you first arrive, until you figure out where everything else is located. The management team, of Helen and Tom, were just wonderful. They responded to all of our calls when we needed to sort things out.(like the breaker on the hot tub went, and Tom came over immediately ..). The pool crew took care of all the pool and hot tub needs. We would not hesitate to return to this wonderful home. Everything was just Super-Dee-Duper! Thank you to the Berry family for your great hospitality.

Great vacation home!

My family stayed at this home for our vacation in June. The house was very spacious, clean and well equipped. We had 6 people in our group and each person had plenty of room to relax and enjoy their stay! All 3 bathrooms were roomy and very clean. The kitchen was very well equipped. The washer and dryer were excellent and we all thoroughly appreciated them! The pool was in excellent condition, with plenty of room and privacy. The neighborhood was very safe and friendly. We can't wait to go back to this home again!

AWESOME VACATION!

One of the best vacations ever, and we have had some great ones. The house was everything we expected and more. The heated pool was amazing and the highlight of our trip. Our Florida holiday 2010

An excellent villa from which we based our Florida 2010 holiday. The kids loved the larger than average sized pool, and the whole family really enjoyed the hot tub ! The living accommodation was very spacious especially the main bedroom and ensuite ! The open plan kitchen, kitchen table and living room was perfect for relaxing with the whole family during the day and evenings. The games room was very popular, and the pool table, fussball table, air hockey and dartboard were all used daily !! A great villa, one which we would love to return to in the future.
