We had a wonderful weekend at this cabin. We were impressed with how fully stocked with essentials it was! It was clean and tastefully decorated. Easy check and check out process. Would highly recommend!!

Wonderful place with tons of amenities. So many amazing bird sounds (including Whip-Poor-Whil!). For EV users, keep in mind that you do have to bring your own connector.

We had a wonderful stay at the Aerie! The large, comfy sitting room and deck were perfect for reconnecting on a girl’s weekend. The hot tub was lovely, with beautiful views of the woods and stars! The kitchen was well appointed and all of the bedrooms were beautiful and comfy.

Family Weekend Getaway

Aerie was the perfect home base for our family weekend getaway. There was great common space for spending time together and plenty of separate sleeping areas. We enjoyed the great outdoor spaces including the deck and hot tub.

Chill r and r weekend with friends

The place was perfect for us. Comfortable and clean. Love the decor. Plenty of room for all of our stuff. We did two jigsaw puzzles used the hot tub and fireplace twice. Great stay and would visit again!

Beautiful home

We had a terrific stay in this home. It was located in a very peaceful neighborhood. I loved all of the trees surrounding the house. The deck was large and very relaxing. The owner was very accommodating and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice getaway.

Excellent Choice

This cabin has plenty of space, a hot tub, and a lovely great room. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, and we especially appreciated the owner's thoughtfulness and responsiveness. Highly recommended.

Quiet Retreat

A total of seven of us (four adults, one teen, and two pre-teens) stayed at this property for a few days. The location was great. Super peaceful. The house had everything we needed. The fireplace, record player, and hot tub were all greatly enjoyed! Highly recommend!

Family Getaway

We were looking for a family friendly spot close to both Cacapon Park and the town of Berkeley Springs. This property far exceeded our expectations. It is beautifully decorated. Every amenity is available-from coffee beans to crayons. Anna is an amazing host. Highly recommend!

Peaceful Oasis

Beautiful house located deep in the woods but not remote. Hot tub is in a great location on a back deck and is private and among the trees. Bedrooms were very comfortable and our three kids each had their own room all off of a single hallway which is an ideal layout for a family with young children. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Exactly Right

A short stay in the woods for my older parents and my teenager was just right at Aerie. It’s hard to find a place where that span of generations are both happy but this was it. Super quiet, beautifully appointed and spotless. Loved it and will be back 10 for the photos of Kate Bush.

Beautifully appointed home in a beautiful setting

We loved the house! The space is very well decorated and tended to with lots of thought toward comfort and aesthetics. We had fun playing records and the porch is such a huge bonus.Maybe bring your own kitchen knives as the ones provided aren't very sharp. Otherwise a perfect stay with everyone needed!

Exceptional Berkeley Springs Rental

We travel to Berkeley Springs at least twice a year and have stayed in many Coolfont community homes. This unique, comfortable, peaceful home is the best so far. Everything one could need is provided, and more. The owner goes out of her way to be accommodating, and she is very welcoming. We can’t thank her enough for sharing this special place with us.

Thanksgiving get-away

We all enjoyed our Thanksgiving trip to Berkeley Springs. The home was so comfortable and roomy and we all enjoyed hanging out in the living room by the fire and listening to records and watching movies. The hot tub was an added bonus enjoyed mostly by the teens in our family. Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful home. The views from the deck were so peaceful and calming. I would like to return in the summer.

Great house with some limitations.

House was exactly as advertised and well appointed with 60’s era furnishings. Only concerns were the steep driveway and yard for us over 60 year olds some of whom have mobility issues.

Fantastic!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay! Everything was perfect! The wood pile was stacked high and ready for the fireplace, the hot tub had a fresh fill, and the bathrooms were clean and stocked with toiletries. Just a few of the many great things about Aerie. Communication with the owner was prompt and friendly. Five gals on a birthday trip leaving all the “at home” responsibilities behind. It was a wonderfully relaxing and pleasant weekend.

Totally impressed with our stay here.

I booked for the MSM vibe and the hot tub, and we hope to go back for so many reasons. This was a family week-end in January. The host thought of everything from the truly comfortable beds to the well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. We especially loved the fireplace and the fact that the long dining room table was big enough for five of us to eat at one end and work a 1,000 piece puzzle at the other end. There was ample seating in the living room too.We also loved watching the sunrise on the horizon plus the lovely and quiet neighborhood. Berkeley Springs is just a few miles NE -- we wished we'd book spa time, because they all the slots were taken when we checked on Saturday afternoon.The host has communication nailed down. The property instructions were easy to understand and well-timed. Great stay!

Perfect leaf peeping location

This property is beautifully decorated and quite intuitive. It has a very clean line/swedish decor vibe. Beds / pillows are SUPER comfortable and linens were the perfect starchy soft snuggle in feel. No one wanted to leave! We enjoyed the vinyls, the fireplace, walks around the area, and the hot tub. The house / location/ things to do will not disappoint. We plan to return so I think if you are often traveling then you “get” how wonderful a place must be if you return. My only suggestion would be to fix slider doors- they are difficult to open. Kitchen - well appointed. Bed rooms- comfortable and difficult to leave. Bathrooms- super clean. Games, puzzles, music & beautiful fall views. Quietttttttt neighborhood. Just perfect.

The property is nicely appointed and accommodate my family and my son’s which includes an infant. Well equipped kitchen. Everyone has their own rooms, it was very comfortable. Beautiful surroundings, quiet and yet very close to Berkeley Springs and Cacapon State Park.

My husband, myself and our mutts absolutely loved our short stay. Very comfortable (beds and sofas), and loved the decor! Super clean and nicely appointed with all items needed to make our stay nice and easy. Thought it was super thoughtful to have towels and other pup supplies in the foyer so we could clean off there dirty feet and dry them off when it was raining. Anna was a great hostess - just wish we could have stayed longer.

Excellent stay!

A beautiful, spacious property close to a variety of outdoor activities at Cacapon Park and good food and sightseeing at Berkeley Springs. Very cozy, nice fireplace and it's conveniently on a Coolfont Mountain trail. The owner was very responsive and accommodating.
