Our trip was very enjoyable and relaxing. The view was amazing and we enjoyed coffee on the deck. The cabin is a gem & we would love to know the history.Thanks for sharing such a treasure in time.

My family had a wonderful day at the cabin. The upstairs living area is very spacious and all the bedrooms were nicely appointed and cozy. The view was very pretty from the decks outside. We did not get to enjoy the fire but due to rain, but it would’ve been nice to sit out in the back and cozy up to a fire. Every step of the way Michelle was extremely responsive to all inquiries and very considerate. I highly recommend this place.

The house is lovely, the views are amazing, the decor is homey, and the beds are comfy. There is plenty of space for a big family to gather and also to have some privacy.

We had a lovely time. The view of the mountains are gorgeous. And the cabin is so cozy and the beds so comfy. All in all in was a wonderfully relaxed time with our family.

Relax in a beautiful setting

My husband and I came to the area to explore the area that my Grandfather grew up in. The cabin was a wonderful get away for us. Perfect location.

Lovely, comfortable, and very clean. We enjoyed the firepit and stars. Access to the house can be slow moving. We're glad we had a 4-wheel drive truck. Thanks for everything!

Cozy Log Cabin

Log cabin was recently renovated - was clean and fresh. Separate bedroom and bathroom downstairs with living area and fold-out couch was perfect for the kids. Absolutely loved the property. Host was very responsive and helpful in setting up the house for our late arrival.

Beautiful house. I wish we had some better views. Loved the chairs on the front porch. Very clean house! Love the rustic feel.

Beautiful Cabin In the Country

Our family and friends throughly enjoyed this charming and well appointed cabin. Lots of room and open space made us all comfortable. Michelle thought of everything to make our stay one to remember. Beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have several bathrooms for family members. The interior woodwork and finishes in this restored cabin belong in a magazine. We loved it!

A wonderul retreat in the mountains

This lovely home had everything we could have wanted to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The gourmet kitchen, wraparound porch, and comfortable beds brought us two days of complete escape. Michele was so responsive to questions and very helpful in making sure that we were comfortable throughout our stay. This location is gorgeous and readily accessible to the AT. All of the roads in this area are well marked, there’s good cell service, and the house is accessible by car.

Very cool spot...

We were in the area to visit Virginia Tech. This place was perfect for us. A whole house for the same price as a Hampton Inn. It was fairly remote and a little bit of a drive post-game but it was definitely worth it. Very clean, well laid out and perfect for our family. My boys even fished in the pond.

Mesmerizing

Had a remarkable, mesmerizing and intriguing stay at this home. Made us realize, as a family, that we are losing time towards each other. Families complain of no cell service, no wifi, no TV. But my family took the time to know each other more and give each dedication. The owner was very communicative with us and our needs.

Thank you for your wonderful review! I'm glad you had a wonderful stay! Did you not have cell service? This is the first mention of no cell service. I know there's spotty service the last few miles driving to the house, but I haven't had anyone have no cell coverage at the house.

Perfect get away

This cabin was everything I’d hoped it would be. The craftsmanship was impressive. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. My daughter and her husband had arrived that Friday with their two daughters (ages 3 and 5). So when my husband and I arrived Saturday they were so excited to show me around their “new house”. We weren’t they much as we were in town for a wedding. It would have been nice to stay another day and relax and unwind from all the busyness of the weekend. Would definitely recommend for those that like rustic and remote. Thank you for everything. Cindy Evick

Great house. We came to the area for a wedding at a nearby venue.

Because of the remoteness of the house, it would have been nice to have a few cooking supplies. Ex: salt, pepper, cooking spray, maybe basic spices.
