House was great for our stay and host was clear about check in procedure. Great location and only 30min walk or short Uber from campus. Only complaint is that house rules were not advertised ahead of time and slightly excessive including a couple ring cameras indoors (not facing sleeping or bathroom areas) that can record audio which some people in our group were uncomfortable with. These were disclosed in the house rules binder upon arrival. Owner also did not disclose that she would be staying in her camper in the driveway during our stay until the night before check in.

Thank you for your review. I’m sorry you felt the rules were excessive. However, they are posted on my listing(at least they are when I need to edit the property) It is also noted in the property description that there are 3 cameras on the premises, and their locations are available upon request. They are placed accordingly, not only for guest safety but for insurance purposes as well. I can assure you, footage is only viewed in the event of an emergency or a claim needs to be filed. I did not think staying in the camper would cause an issue, as I did not interfere with your stay. I was merely there to sleep as it was a very busy weekend for me working the events. I hope these things will not deter you or any of the guests in your group from staying again. I appreciate you taking such great care of the property. I look forward to possibly hosting your group again. You are all more than welcome any time!

We had a wonderful stay at Lisa's house for our daughter's PSU graduation weekend! The communication was great! Location was perfect! We loved the back deck for enjoying the weather with our group. The house had all that we needed. Perfect for a large group! Thanks!

Lisa was very easy to communicate with and the place was able to accommodate our large group. The property was walkable to the campus, restaurants, and stores. Would recommend to anybody going to the area!

Close to stadium, easy access to all of State College. House was very roomy. Lisa was welcoming and there if we needed anything.

The house was spacious and really comfortable. It was so nice to have the whole house, which included the downstairs apartment and two outdoor seating areas. The kitchen was well appointed and appliances all were in great shape. The host was wonderful and excellent with communicating throughout the whole process. Short term rentals are becoming unpredictable but from the beginning, I felt very comfortable that this one was going to work out because of the great communication with the host. Having only two bathrooms for a large group can be challenging but we all managed to do just fine for this stay. Location was great: Penn Stare is a quick drive and there is a Giant grocery store right around the corner.
