The pool was amazing. The kids enjoyed themselves tremendously. The house is well stocked, and the owners couldn’t be nicer. We would absolutely stay again. The dock is amazing and my daughter loved tanning there and my son loved jumping off. Thanks again.

Great family vacation

We had a great time in FL. The pool was definitely top notch, kids loved it. House was perfect size for our family of 11.

Beautiful view and Amenities!

Lanai view was amazing !! We did not have any worries about the accommodations! More than enough space for our big family! The pool, bikes and kayaks kept us busy.

Great accommodations & pool for a low key family vacation. Perfect spot for a winter getaway with young kids. Only issue was miscommunication regarding cleaning.

Relaxing

Overall impression was that we very much enjoyed the pool, kayaking was very enjoyable and fishing 🎣 off the dock, caught some snapper and cat fish.

Great location, home and views

We had a great stay at this home! The kids spent most of their time in the huge pool, on the dock with the beautiful views and playing in the yard in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of kitchen appliances available. Easy and great communication with the host. Would recommend this home!

Perfectly Relaxing Vacation

We had a great time staying here! Afternoons relaxing by the pool were wonderful! Everything was clean and tidy and ready for our stay. Our toddler loved the 'flying fish' you could see off the dock every evening. The owners were fast to respond when we needed anything. They have everything you would need for beach trips, pool toys, towels, etc. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Beautiful view

We enjoyed the deck by canal at night to watch the sunset. Everyone enjoyed the pool especially the grandchildren. Plenty of furniture to sit outside. Its a nice neighborhood to go walking. We saw burrowing owls on our walk.

Family Vacation

Loved hanging out on the dock and fishing. The dock had some boards that were in bad shape, but it is a nice big area, with wonderful view. The house was a little dated inside but we were mainly outside on the lanai which was great. The house is in a great location, close to Cape Harbor which was a great place to hang out and close to Tarpon Pointe which was also a fun area.

Great Vacation Home

This home has everything needed to enjoy a vacation without bringing alot from home. Kitchen has everything needed to cook, dine, etc . House is lovely with great living areas. Beautiful view from patio/pool to canal beyond - very serene. Plenty of space indoors and outdoors for everyone to spread out. Home is in nice quiet neighborhood where taking walks are pleasant. Close to many good restaurants and things to do. The owners are terrific and communicate very well and seek input on what they can do to make the guests' stay more pleasant.

House is in a great location for shopping, running errands, and making day trips to surrounding areas. During our month-long stay, we enjoyed the nice heated pool with desirable southern exposure, and pretty canal view. Spacious primary bedroom suite. Excellent TV service-after Xfinity replaced every piece of hardware. A few things that could improve the experience- more comfortable seating in the family room and microwavable/dishwasher safe dinnerware. To potential renters- be advised that the house is for sale and there are frequent requests for showings which could be a disruption. Discuss with the owners.

Thank you for your review. For those that are potentially looking at booking our home, this house is no longer on the market and there are no plans for it to be listed for sale. Regarding the furniture in the living room - we have specifically asked other renters and no one has anything negative to say about in. Regarding the renters comment she did admit to us that she has back issues, so maybe that is the reason she did not find it to meet her specific needs.

House is in a great location. Fishing off the dock was great (get live shrimp). Bring extra beach towels, not very many provided with having a pool. House is in need of some up keeps. On suite bathroom is missing a shower door and replaced with a clear plastic shower liner. House could also use a DEEP clean. Cabinets have grease build up around the handles, baseboards are dirty. Bring your own glassware too, not sure if it was just hard water stains, but the glasses looked dirty. Everything in the house is labeled for easy access. Our family really did have a good time but the attention to cleaning needs to be addressed

Southern exposure

The house had plenty of kitchen condiments and kitchenware. I made recommendations of a few things that could be fixed. Hopefully they will get that taken care of. The pier had a few boards that need replacing. Overall a nice stay.

Wonderful Weekend !

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! This home came stocked with everything we could have asked for and more! Home was spotless. Beds were comfortable. They even had box fans for us that need the noise at night (they also had ceiling fans!). Plenty of beach chairs and beach toys for the kiddos. Lots of room for my group of 6 to spread out and be comfortable. Loved that they allow us to leave non perishables for the next family, as not to waste stuff! Came stocked with spices, oil, canned goods, and a fridge in the garage with canned pop. Obviously those items change based on the families that stay and use them and/or leave them… but it was very nice! Very thankful for this home for our week. Location was great! Thank you!

Absolutely perfect house and hosts!

Myself, my husband and our friend stayed here March 2-7 for some much needed rest and relaxation from our Minnesota winter. The house was perfect. It had everything we could have possibly needed and more. The house was spacious and super clean and better than we expected. The backyard lanai, pool and dock area were all so perfect, although we didn’t get to use the pool due to the weather. We did sit on the edge one day wifhnoie feet in the pooland the water temp was 80 degrees. We figured we’d have plenty of time as the days went on. but our one hot, sunny day we decided to spend on Sanibel. The owners seemed very accommodating and were super great at quick communication. We travel a lot (before Covid hit) and always stay in VRBOs, and this one ranks way up there. We would highly recommend this place. This place has so much room it would be great for large families or maybe two families with kids.

Thank you for your stay... it is unfortunate that the weather in Florida hit an all time low with temps down into the 30's - this has not occurred in Florida in nearly 10 years.
