We loved our stay at this gorgeous and historic home! How nice to have the host greet us in person to check in and go over everything! Communication was a breeze and the value for the property was spot on. Highly recommend for a convenient location in the heart of Tampa.

Family Reunion Trip

Was a quiet retreat after a week long trip out at sea. The home was beautiful and the kids preferred being there instead of the family reunion events.

Jennifer was an excellent hostess. The property was close to everything. Had everything we needed while we stayed there.

Tampa stay

Owners were very nice and accommodating. Place was cute and comfortable. Unfortunately, when we were there, there was an odor we couldn’t get rid of.

David stayed only one night and left on the second because his son was sick, then demanded a refund due to an “odor”. He never mentioned any problems when he checked in and stayed in the home over 36 hours with no communication about any issues. I arrived at the home 15 minutes after he messaged us he was leaving and there was no odor. We had guests stay there the previous weekend and the weekend after David and no one complained about any odor. A guest cannot just leave without any communication about an issue and then suddenly demand half their money back because they decided to leave early. We have been hosting guests for over 3 years with no issues and great reviews.

13 book club friends. We loved the house and the wonderful yard. The dining table was perfect for all of us to gather together for eating, gaming and happy conversations. Everything was supplied and all was clean and in working order. Our only critique (and we should have realized beforehand) was that there was no bathroom on the upper floor. The host and hostess were extra accommodating. We had a great stay!

Wonderful Wedding Weekend

A group of 10 of us stayed at Jenn’s home for two nights while visiting Tampa for a wedding in Ybor. Jenn was very accommodating and even met us upon arrival. That’s the first time anyone has done that for me and I thought it was great! The house is a beautiful historic home in a great neighborhood. Close to many amenities. Quick drive to Ybor. But because the house is so great we found ourselves hanging there much more than we expected. Everyone fit into the house comfortably and with plenty of space. I would absolutely stay here again and will recommend it to friends visiting Tampa in the future.

50th Anniversary Party

The Elizabeth House was a beautiful setting for our family celebration. The rooms were tastefully decorated and offered plenty of seating for guests; the billiard room provided a perfect hangout for the kids; the kitchen/dining area had enough space for all of our food, drinks, and desserts; and the spacious backyard proved perfect for the kids to play as well as for groups of adults to enjoy conversation. And there was plenty of room for family members to spend the night, enjoying the evening beyond the official party. Everyone commented about the comfortable atmosphere of this historic home. We would definitely return for another event and recommend the venue to others. Thanks to our hosts!

Cozy with great location

Recently had my wedding at a venue which is a block down the road. Sadly there was not enough room at the venue to get ready, so I found the Elizabeth House and it was everything we needed plus more. With beautiful photo opportunities inside and out, Elizabeth House definitely delivered!! We where able to comfortably sleep 8 out of town guest and have more than enough room to get ready the day of the wedding. With a great split floor plan the groomsmen where able to stay away from the bridal party. All the rooms where very well kept and we absolutely loved the untouched history inside the home. Location was another huge plus, within walking distance of our wedding venue and downtown, we rarely had to drive anywhere. If you are looking for a lasting part of history to stay at in Tampa with a great location this is the place!!!

Elizabeth House was the perfect choice for our stay in Tampa - for UT graduation. Yhe house is gorgeous and roomy for us as a family of 8 staying. 4 blocks from the river walk and Armature works and less than 2 miles from campus. Jennifer was a great host!
