A perfect cottage on the lake with wonderful views and all the comforts of home. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living area and porch have plenty of seating for relaxing and watching the loons on the lake.

A beautiful, clean lakeside home with all the amenities you could ask for. We enjoyed amazing sunrises from the porch facing the lake. The spacious open concept of the kitchen, dining and living areas encourage togetherness. The host communication is prompt and professional, and very kind. We will stay again!

It was a beautiful place right on the river. They have so much available for guests to use however there were 4 ladies between 67-77 and we were there to go to Mackinac Island. I would highly recommend this place for a summer vacation.Just one thing, there is no ice maker just a couple ice cube trays. No big deal just might want to have some bagged ice.Overall I would highly recommend this home.

Thank you so much for the review and so glad you had a good time. We are on Mullett Lake near the Indian River which is great access to all the surrounding cities. Sorry about the ice maker, we can't have one because the water line can freeze or rupture when we are not there in the Wintertime and create a flood. Great place, perfect location on the lake

Very comfortable for our multi generational group, ages ranging from 2 year olds to grandparents. The hosts have thought of everything to make it a very enjoyable stay!

We had a lovely stay! The home was well stocked, had plenty of seating, and provided good Wi-Fi and a beautiful view of the lake!

Fun Family Weekend at Mullet Lake

The cottage was absolutely adorable and our host Claudia was great. She responded to questions quickly and has went above & beyond making sure the cottage has everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Loved this cottage and the history that comes with it! It was very clean, well equipped - everywhere and so comfy. The owner was so nice and very responsive. Loved the open spacious living areas. Would definitely be on the list to return.

Beautiful cottage and lake

This cottage is beautiful and so clean. There was so much space for everyone. We had a wonderful time on the lake and at nearby Mackinaw. Will definitely come back!

The house is PERFECTLY set up for guests! We had 6 adults and a dog, and it was plenty of space. The house had everything you could possibly need. The only warning I'll give, if you bring a dog, be alert and keep on a leash, the neighbors had two dogs that run off leash and charged our dog a couple of times (nobody was hurt).

MIchigan Stay

This place is so nice!! It had everything we needed for our week stay. It was right on the water with a nice pier to fish off of. We already are thinking of a time we can come back again. I highly recommend it if you are in the area! Very nice owner to work with.

Where to begin, I do alot of rentals and by far this is the best experience I've ever had. The property was fantastic, very clean and well maintained. The amount of extras was phenomenal, way too many to list here. The property has a very comfortable feel unlike most rentals that feel impersonal, very relaxed. I can't say enough about my host, she was very friendly and professional, the communication was excellent going the extra mile to make sure everything was in order and making sure all our needs were met . She went out of her way to accommodate us and make us feel welcome. I wish I had more space to list all the extras but trust me they are unbelievable. So do me a favor and don't rent this property, I need the availability for myself. But seriously don't pass this one up, do yourself a favor and reserve now.

Peace and Beauty

When the sun came out the sunrise was spectacular. And due to the time of year it was like we had the bay to ourselves!!! Our hostess had a huge stock of coffee and the best towels in the universe!!! We have travelled up north a bit and this was one of the best!!!

Cottage on the Lake

I had looked and looked for the perfect place to stay and was excited when I found The cottage in Grandview on Mullet Lake! Everything was perfect… Even the weather! The cottage was clean and in perfect shape, we enjoyed our evening fire right on the lake, taking the Row boat out, and being so close to other sites and places we wanted to visit! Our host was great and we can’t wait to go back!

Nice Visit

Property was lovely. Beach front was wonderful. My husband had success fishing from his kayak. We were there in July and there were neighbors. I always prefer more seclusion but that is no fault of the property.

A home away from home.

What a great place. It was like having our own vacation house. We had everything we needed ... and then some. The house is clean, cozy, and located right on the lake. The little peninsula we were on was just about empty, so we had the whole area to ourselves. The water is crystal clear, and the bottom mostly sandy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back again one day soon.

Great Stay

Grandview Beach is wonderfully tucked away and perfectly located for our trip to Mackinac Island. The cottage is spacious, clean and adorable with touches of family history throughout and has absolutely amazing lake views. The home has an old family feel, making it warm & nostalgic, which we loved. The kitchen is well-stocked, as is everything in the home, with many extras - linens, games, puzzles & essentials. Our kids used the row-boat, enjoyed the bikes and the neighborhood is great. Our family made wonderful memories and had an enjoyable stay.

Thank you so much for the kind review. We are so glad it worked out for your family. It is a great place to stay if your going to Mackinaw Island. Just 25 miles up the freeway but you not around a lot of the tourist mayhem. :-) I actually considered taking all the family history out of the cottage but considered how cold and unwelcoming it made it feel. I didn't want it to feel like a hotel room. Thanks for your feedback on that too. We hope you will consider us again if you are up this way in Michigan.
