You're going to love staying in this home during your next trip to Fort Walton! This unit has been recently renovated and painted, with new flooring, granite countertops, new appliances, and other upgrades. The gulf-front living room includes a Smart TV with many Streaming options, for all your entertainment needs. The primary suite includes a TV with Amazon Fire with additional Streaming options. Views from this beachfront balcony will enchant you while the charming decor creates a sense of home. It has hallway bunk beds, a sleeper sofa, and a large dining room table. This lovely home also includes a fully equipped, gulf-front kitchen and stackable washer and dryer. All units at Pelican Isle have a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Mexico and the resort includes a pool, a spa, workout facilities, a barbecue grilling area, and boardwalk access to the beach. Seasonal Beach service included in this unit.

Well be back

We enjoyed the room!!!! It was very spacious and pretty clean. Loved the fact it had a washer and dryer, now all our clothes are clean and ready to be put up when we get home. Only slight complaint we had was the mattress. It needs to be updated. All and all, we had a great experience with this condo and hope to be back

Won't Rent Unit the again. Run! Roaches!!!

I left one star because there wasn't a "no stars" option. The unit had palmetto bugs (still a cockroach that can spread disease - they leave droppings as they walk across you floors, countertop, etc.) and "regular" cockroaches. We called the 800# to report the bugs and also went down to the front desk to discuss the infestation with the desk staff. We were assured that the matter would be taken care of. We were so disgusted with the bugs that we ended up checking out two days early. We actually got a call from the booking agency to see if we had checked out! It sounded like they wanted to rent to unit again for the days we had already paid for and never received reimbursement for. We called two times about a refund and still have not heard anything back. We are getting the runaround. I feel as if they didn't give a crap about the bugs or our money as it's been two weeks and we still are hearing crickets....better than roaches. Additionally, the unit was dirty and dated. The furniture was stained to the point I covered the sofa and chair with sheets to prevent touching the fabric. The photo in the listing is inaccurate. $2K wasted! We left our luggage in our garage, despite shaking everything out, for a week before unpacking.

Nice, but...

The home was nice and for the most part clean. There were some molds on the ceiling around the living room area. Some dishes in the cubert was dirty, but I think it was an oversight when they put the dry dishes away. Our dryer diedout on us 2nd day out our stay. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

Great location

Great location with beach access. The condo was very clean! A few things that happened that will prevent me from booking a property that is managed by Vacasa again….. prior to arrival I messaged and asked what kind of coffee maker there was. They told me there was a Keurig. We bought kcups and when we arrived they didn’t have a keurig. We had to go back to the store to buy coffee. The dryer didn’t work. I put in a work order. We were able to use the dryer next door ONE time which was great but no one ever came to fix it or followed up. We are headed home with a sackful of wet towels. The blender didn’t work. They said they ordered a new one but we never received it. This is our 6th time staying at a condo in Destin. But our first time staying with a property managed by Vacasa. Those issues that happened will prevent me from booking this condo again. The condo itself was great. I don’t know where the communication fell through with the issues that we had. But if you can fix that I think future guests would have a better time. The kitchen could have had better supplies. There were no scissors or tongs to use. There were also some large water roaches that were there on our last day. 3 to be exact. That is one souvenir I don’t wish to bring back from Florida!

Perfect unit for a small family. Maintenance was quick to come. We had a dryer belt go out on our dryer and they fixed it promptly.
