The location, home, and amenities made it a great place to stay. We enjoyed having access to the fire pit, hammock, outdoor theatre while enjoying the hot tub and finding the Secret Garden. It was a great stay and was also perfect for our sweet little doggie. The Welcome note and goodies for us and our dog were a wonderful added touch to checking in.

This stay was incredible. There was no detail left out. We brought our dog, and the cabin had a towel so we could wipe our dogs paws. Like seriously?! So sweet! We even got caught in a snow storm in our area and the owner, Lynette, kept us updated on road conditions near the cabin and was even will in to work with switching our dates if the roads were unsafe for traveling. It’s hospitality like this to continue to set the standard for being ranked Best of Georgia!

Great getaway!

We stayed at Memory Maker for Thanksgiving break and it was a great getaway! The cabin was tucked away in the mountain side, which offered the seclusion we wanted, but only a short drive took us to the great town of Helen. The cabin was cozy and included everything you can think of, for an amazing experience…firewood, towels/linens, games, spices, spa, flashlights, marshmallow sticks, etc. I would highly recommend this cabin.

Wonderful stay

This is our third time staying at one of Lynette’s properties, our first time at Memory Maker, it will not be our last. Her cabins are so well appointed and always very clean, I especially like the welcome sign and goodie basket. She responds quickly with any questions you may have and is very knowledgeable of the area. The location of this cabin is close to Helen and so many trailheads. Such great hiking in the area from beginners to experienced hikers. So many beautiful waterfalls too.

I’m always happy to help with any questions, and I agree—the hiking and waterfalls in this area are incredible! We can’t wait to host you again for your next getaway! 😊🏡✨

Hi, I’m Lynette, the owner and host of Memory Maker. I personally manage and care for this cabin with the goal of creating a stay that feels warm, easy, and well prepared from start to finish. I’m local to the area and available if needed, and I work hard to make sure guests have clear communication, a clean and comfortable space, and everything they need to relax and enjoy their trip.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

Memory Maker was created for guests who want the cabin itself to be part of the trip. Instead of being just a place to sleep between activities, this is the kind of cabin where people slow down, stay in a little longer, and end up spending more time at the property than they planned. The combination of hot tub, outdoor movie area, fire pit, hammock, multiple decks, and cozy indoor gathering spaces gives guests several different ways to relax throughout the day.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

• Epic outdoor movie screen lounge setup that can be easily watched from the private, covered hot tub. • Magical, lighted Secret Garden hidden under a ring of mountain laurel for quiet reflection. • Expanded upper porch dining area with separate seating, charcoal grill, and seasonal mountain views. • Fun-forward interior loft equipped with interactive wall games for family entertainment. • Signature two-person Stargazer hammock nestled under a quiet canopy of twinkle lights. • Personally managed by Freedom Finder Vacation Rentals, a multi-year award-winning hospitality brand.
