We really appreciate you flagging the boardwalk and steps down to the beach — the nails and debris are definitely not okay, and we'll get maintenance out to fix that right away so it's safe for future guests. We also want you to know that we've actually just had the pool freshly painted and completed some maintenance work on the property, so some of what you experienced should already be improved. We're continuing to invest in the upkeep of the bottom-level balcony and pool area as well, and your comments help us prioritize where to focus next. We are so glad the location was such a standout and that Kamps Baai made for such a memorable stay for the whole family, including the grandkids who loved the bunk beds! We appreciate your honest feedback on the layout of the home. The elevator and pool placement are simply part of how the home was originally designed and built, and unfortunately outside of our control as hosts. We completely understand that it may feel a little unconventional, but we are glad it all worked out for your group. We love that the beach setup with chairs and an umbrella every day, the golf cart, pool, and beach toys all added to the fun.

Hi Sara, we wish you would've voiced your concerns with the cleaning while you were in house. We definitely would have sent back the cleaner to fix any issues you had because cleanliness & guest satisfaction is the top priority to us. All your correspondence with us during your stay was positive & we were not made aware. We want all our guests to be comfortable & taken care of while they are staying with us.
