On a positive note was a very roomie place with lots of area to spread out. Kitchen is well equipped. Large paved driveway for bike or scooter ridding. We were somewhat disappointed. Hot tub was dirty and did not heat up. We let the owner know. She said she would send an handyman but he never came. Outside decks and areas around the deck were not maintained well. Also drapes on windows in bedrooms are very sheer so if you are not an early riser bring eye blinders.

The hot tub is professionally serviced on a weekly schedule, and we contacted a handyman as soon as you notified us. We regret that the issue was not resolved during your stay. The deck and surrounding outdoor areas have since been repaired, painted, and maintained. We also appreciate your feedback about the bedroom curtains and will consider additional blackout options for guests who prefer darker rooms.

Family getaway

Property is beautiful - hot tub, sauna, heated toilet seats, abundant spaces to meet and hang out. Only drawback was uneven temperatures in house - heaters in every room but it was cold almost everywhere.

Beautiful house in an amazing location!

This house was perfect for our occasion! The house was beautifully decorated, clean, spacious, and stocked with all the essentials. The outside was also beautiful, but not as maintained. Linda was very helpful and responsive, as well!

Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. The outdoor areas appeared poorly maintained and were not as inviting as advertised. Several amenities were not functioning properly, including the sauna, which was completely broken, and the grill, which only partially worked. The indoor electric fireplaces also did not work during our stay.Additionally, the towels had an unpleasant odor, which raised concerns about cleanliness. Most concerning, after returning home, I developed bites and sought medical attention. I was informed that the bites were consistent with bed bug bites. No one in our group had these bites before arriving at the property.I hope the host addresses these issues, particularly the potential bed bug problem, so future guests do not have a similar experience.

We’re disappointed to read this review, as there was absolutely no evidence of bed bugs during or after the stay. The deck had been fully repaired and painted, and everything in the property was in working order. Our many positive reviews reflect the cleanliness and quality we consistently provide. Unfortunately, the guest requested a refund that we were unable to approve, but we stand confidently behind the condition of our property.

Weekend Getaway

The second floor AC system did not work and on the first floor where the pool table is located, water was leaking from the air conditioner so we had to turn it off through out our stay. Lastly a broom for outside would be helpful to tidy up the outside deck area.

Overall great property

This house is great for many reasons - location, size and cleanliness. It’s great for large groups (there were 17 of us) and there’s plenty of space for everyone. It’s also close to the town and mountains. All the rooms are nice and comfortable. There are also a lot of common areas to hang out in. The kids loved being downstairs and having their own space. I only wish the kitchen was bigger and more central in the house. That’s primarily where the grownups were and it’s in the back of the house. So that’s my only gripe about the house, the kitchen. If you are planning to cook a lot and for a large group, it can be challenging. There aren’t a lot of big pots and pans and no serving platters. Luckily we brought our own disposable aluminum pans which came in handy. Also they don’t have all the popular spices to cook with, including olive oil so bring your own. Range is a little temperamental (flame could only be low or very high) but we managed. All in all we had a great time and enjoyed the house. The owner was in Asia while we were at the house so it took a few hours depending on the time difference to respond but she was responsive enough. Even sent a handyman over the next day when there was an issue with a smoke alarm that was beeping bc of a dying battery. We would have changed it ourselves but the ceiling was too high and there was no ladder.

Family reunion

The location was great to get completely away for a family reunion. Plenty of large rooms to not feel on top of each other. Updated. Wi-Fi was weak when all 18 of us on it. Otherwise we all loved it.
