Very nice. Incredible view and comfortable accommodations. Could’ve been a bit cleaner, but our 8 month old was finding some crumbs and dust. Host was quick to send someone out when we realized the AC was broken and it was resolved quickly.

Beautiful Views

The views are amazing! We loved the private beach access and deck. The condo is clean and comfy. It was a great spot for our first trip to OBX.

Amazing view!

The view from the apartment and balcony was absolutely amazing in good or bad weather! The apartment was very clean, only the floor had sticky stains. However, the rental company immediately offered to send someone over to clean it. It was very nicely furnished and well maintained. It was great that it had its own washing machine and tumbler. The only thing that bothered me was that it didn't have a hair dryer and it wasn't listed on the VRBO page. I had to buy an extra one for 5 days. We travel a lot and it was the only apartment without a hairdryer. I expect that for this price. I would rent the apartment again anytime though, we really enjoyed our stay.

Pool availability misleading

1)It was advertised online that one of the highlights of Seaclusion is the community-exclusive oceanfront pool. Then, in their check-in email they state that all private pools will be opened by April 12th. In neither place did it define what “private” nor “community” pool means. When we phoned them, they were defensive and argued with us, saying that the pool was a community one for the homeowners, therefore, the pool would not open until Memorial Day (when obviously, the rates increase). 2)What a surprise to discover NO BLOW DRYER in the unit. These days, even the cheapest motels have one in every room.3)Upon arrival, maintenance was occurring and on Saturday, the workers left. We then began hearing a loud humming vibrating noise, noticeable in both bedrooms and hallway, until we got closer to the sound of ocean waves. This noise was especially loud when we went to bed and during the night, when other outside sounds were quiet. We phoned the property management company first thing Monday morning. They sent a maintenance staff who called them and said that he too, heard it. He told us they would send someone from the homeowners group to attend it no later than Tuesday. By Wednesday morning, nothing had been done, so we called again. They then sent someone over and by that afternoon, the noise was eliminated. We then had 1 day of quiet before we left.

Hello Larry. Thank you so much for taking the time to send this feedback. We completely understand your disappointment with the pool and lack of hairdryer. We try to be as transparent as possible in our listings and make sure all details are upfront so guests can plan accordingly. Our listing does state what amenities are in this property. We also send out emails to our guests with suggestions on what to bring. Our listing also states that this home has access to a community pool and not a private pool. Our pool dates, both community and private, are listed under the house rules for this property. Since we advertise community pool for this property, Seaclusion guests would follow the community pool dates which are set by the HOA. We sincerely apologize that the maintenance issue you reported took longer than usual to address. We always aim to resolve any problems as quickly as possible, and understand how frustrating this delay was. We truly appreciate your understanding, and are very sorry for any inconvenience this caused and hope that you were still able to enjoy your time at the beach!
