There are several great fishing alternatives within a short 20-40 minute drive from the house. Eleven mile Reservoir, Eleven Mile Canyon, Spinney Mountain Reservoir, Manitou Lake, and our favorite spot during the summer, Rampart Range Reservoir. All of these places offer great fishing from the shore and are family friendly. Pack a picnic and make a memorable day trip out of it!

Great place to have some mountain reprieve

This is a wonderful place to escape and enjoy the mountains. The prop manager communicated any time we reached out; and the home was wonderfully outfitted.

Everything was great, beautiful views and easy travel to and from town. Wildlife everywhere and the deer walk right through the yard and around the house.

Wedding weekend in Colorado

We absolutely loved the chalet! It was perfect for my husband and myself along with my inlaws and some additional family. There were 8 of us and it never felt crowded. We did most of the cooking for our son's wedding that was held in Woodland Park (50 guests). The chalet was stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils and all the basic spices, flour and sugar, coffee and plenty of glasses, dishes and silverware so we didn't have to run the dishwasher but once a day. There were plenty of towels and hot water for everyone to shower with no issues. Two outdoor glass fire places allowed us to gather every morning for coffee and each evening for a night cap. The birds, mule deer and chipmunks kept us so entertained we never even turned on the television. It is a bit of a drive to the bigger grocery stores, but we made a day of picking up what was needed and then didn't have to run out again. There was plenty of cold storage for food and drinks. The response from property management was spot on and very quick when we had a question prior to and after arriving. We will definitely recommend this house to others!

Fabulous cabin

Location was great and it was extremely clean! Very easy to get there, the amenities were superb, very quiet, and super cozy! Will definitely be back and will recommend to others! Such a nice, nice place!

Amazing stay. Exactly as advertised

Property was exactly as advertised. Very, very clean. Close to many attractions. Lots of wildlife, which was fun. Property owner was very quick to reply and very helpful. Definitely will stay here again.

It is only a few miles from Mueller State Park and multiple trailheads leading to the back side of Pikes Peak. It also has easy access to Cripple Creek for great restaurants and gaming fun. It is centrally located close to restaurants, breweries and local area attractions!
