Alaska Windflower Escape

Remodeled from top to bottom beautiful duplex in a prime location right off the highway! New beds and furnishings! Located central of town, just a few minutes to coffee, restaurants, and more. This unit has a cozy, clean environment with a great private back deck to soak up some sun shine. This is a ranch style duplex that has been updated and remodeled. A great space for 4 people. Stocked kitchen with dining space inside and outside! A small desk space for remote workers. TV with apps and Wifi is available as well. The owners live on the other side of the duplex, but Carolyn our property manager will be in touch with you for everything you need! Guests will have access to the unit by front door private access and access to the yard and deck space located in the private wooded back yard. The duplex is located in midtown, about 1 minute from the highway. This is the best and easiest access for getting everywhere in town and heading out of town! Slightly tucked away on the end of a street in a cul-de-sac which is quiet and away from traffic.

A perfect stay

Alaska Windflower Escape was a perfect place to stay while visiting some family who live in Anchorage. The location was convenient to town yet quiet. The home was clean and well kept. All of the needed supplies were present, as well as some extras that one might not expect (spices, etc. in the kitchen, for example). We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Cozy & Relaxing

This property was cozy, clean and well stocked. The proximity to UAA where we dropped our son was perfect. We really enjoyed it and will probably stay again when we have to pic him up.

Quiet, clean rental

We enjoyed our stay with 2 young children. The house was equipped with all basic necessities and was a wonderful, relaxing vacation home to come back to every day. I recommend for families.

Perfect and peaceful

This was a perfect place for my husband and I. It was quiet and COMFORTABLE!!! It was close to where we needed to go. Carolyn was easy to communicate with and accommodating. It was very clean and roomy. We had a wonderful time!!

Great Stay in Anchorage

This townhouse was exactly as described in the listing and was an awesome base for our trip. Quiet neighborhood right off the Seward Highway and close to everything. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. Communications with the host was quick and easy. Great find and one we will use again.

Great little home base!

My dad and I stayed here during a quick trip to visit Anchorage. It was a great location, but not walkable to anything. Convenient for driving. Convenient to airport. Clean and the homeowner was awesome. Super communicative and accommodating.

Central location convenient to everything in Anchorage.

My experience with this property was seamless. When I arrived I was concerned the location might be noisy but it was quite the opposite. Clean, neat, and everything worked as it should. Host made sure my stay was going well. I would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay here! Our communication was outstanding with Carolyn who was always a joy to work with. The home was clean and had everything we needed for the perfect stay. The home is centrally located which made it easy for us to visit many different areas with ease. Thank you for everything!

3 days in Anchorage

We stayed only 3 nights I. This unit but loved it. It was roomy, lean, quiet, warm, tastefully furnished and they provided everything you’d need (paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner, coffee, filters, creaMer, sugar, lots of backing pans and utensils. You will not go wrong staying here. Thank you for such a nice place.

AWESOME EXPERIENCE!

This was my first time trying this type of rental & I am hooked! Communication with tbe property manager was excellent and the property was beautiful! Everything we needed, except the food, was there! The location is near downtown & shopping making it easy to get around. The location was quiet & relaxing! I highly revommend this property!

Great experience!

This was my first experience with any type of AirB&B or VRBO and it was outstanding! Having just moved out of state after 33 years, I knew right where the property was and was pleased with the area of town/neighborhood. The property was well maintained and so cute and comfy....and my goodness, THAT BED!! Thank you so much-you thought of everything that one would need at their own home and made sure it was available for guests. Well done!

Review of stay

This is a great place and was perfect for our needs for this trip. The property manager was kind enough to accommodate a specific kitchen appliance request. The beds were very comfortable and soft. The house did have carpet. While it appeared to have been just cleaned (was damp on arrival), there was a mild odor of cats. This would likely not have been a problem for anyone without a cat/dust allergy.

Anchorage getaway

We stayed for 10 days. Everything was neat and clean. The best part was the stocked essentials which I haven’t found at many other properties. I loved that I didn’t have to buy coffee, dishwasher detergent or laundry soap. It was a quiet neighborhood within 10 minutes of restaurants and downtown. We loved staying here!

Good Stay

This is a two bedroom duplex. There is a dedicated parking spot and a private entrance. The property is in a culdesac deep in a neighborhood so it’s quiet but it takes a bit to drive through the neighborhood. The place is clean and well furnished with a good kitchen. We spent some time just hanging out and found it very comfortable.
