Less than a mile south of the Steamboat Ski Area, Shadow Run is among the best lodging values in Steamboat. With a plethora of amenities, including an outdoor swimming pool (summer only), two outdoor hot tubs, a common grill and firepit, plus a playground, there is plenty on site for the whole family. Shadow Run is also on the bus route and just a short (15 minutes in summer) walk to Wild Plum Market, several restaurants and the base area to the west and Whistler Park (10 minute walk) to the east.

This two bedroom, two bathroom condo has been completely remodeled. New wood floors, kitchen cabinets, granite counter tops, updated bathrooms and furnishings! Sleek new furniture with sectional sofa provides form and function and is the perfect place to relax in front of the gas fireplace or large flat screen TV. This condo provides ample natural light. The sliding glass door leads to a private patio where you can settle in for coffee or an afternoon drink and enjoy the fresh mountain air. The efficient kitchen has new appliances and a dining table that seats 5. With views of the ski area, the master bedroom has a new king bed and newly updated en-suite master bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed with twin bed on top for versatile sleeping configurations. The second bathroom is located across the hall. There is a tri-fold twin mattress to accommodate an extra guest in the living room. This condo has a private washer/dryer.

Shadow Run amenities include outdoor pool (summer time only), hot tubs, outdoor fire pit, grills and picnic tables. There's plenty of storage for your gear as well with the two additional storage closets.

Living Room: Tri-fold twin mattress

A/C: NO ( The Vast Majority of units in Steamboat do not have A/C and it is usually not needed. Fans Available in the unit. )

Good experience

The stay at shadow run was overall very positive. Some remarks: Kitchen: There were no issues with the coffee maker & there were adequate cooking utensils. They had plenty of filters on hand. We cooked frequently for 6 people and enjoyed the experience. Transportation: quick access to the gondola from either the city bus or retreatia bus. Accomodations: overall as advertised. Comfortable beds. Super small nitpicky thing it was weird the master shower didn't have a soap holder so you just set your stuff on the floor. You can hear your neighbors walking above but it isn't bad. We'll come back here next time.
