We had a wonderful stay! The property is absolutely beautiful inside and out. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We loved being able to relax by the fire pit at night. The yard was filled with lightning bugs. We enjoyed the sauna too. Communication with Leigh was great! Check in and check out processes were very easy. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Rustic and refined . It has the charm of a lovely historic home but with all the comforts of modern living.Lots of restaurants and antique shops nearby. Not walkable but a very short drive.

Beautiful getaway

We stayed here for Thanksgiving. Kitchen was great for cooking and property was so cozy. Everything has been beautifully renovated. Will definitely come back next time we’re in the area!

Beautiful historic place with modern updates

Stayed 9 days with 3 generations family and everyone had fun and a memorable stay. We had every convenience there with peaceful land all around. We visited many local sites and enjoyed coming home each night to comfortable beds and surroundings. The children never wanted to leave!

We were in the area to celebrate a birthday and the space was fantastic. The kitchen is fully stocked and we were able to cook each night during our stay. The home was impeccably clean and the decor was phenomenal.

This is our second visit to this home. Home is beautiful, well stocked and clean. Setting is very peaceful and convenient to Lancaster offerings. It is a comfortable home for a multi generational family visit.

Absolutely beautiful!

We truly didn’t want to leave! The house combines the perfect blend of original rustic charm with all the modern touches and amenities. Every detail has been curated to create a warm, inviting and relaxing atmosphere. The house is located in a slightly rural area which provides the most peaceful evenings on the porch. We enjoyed exploring the area knowing we were returning to this truly magical place.

Stay in Columbia

We had a wonderful stay in Columbia. The house was comfortable and well appointed. It was perfect staying as two families with young kids. The older kids shared the twin bed room. The different living areas made it nice to give each family a little space and also great hang out options.

Absolutely Gorgeous

This house was a dream! I love the extra wide real wood floors, the stone walls. deep set windows, sun room and the majestic evergreens just outside the house. It was a short stay but I’d love to come back.

Historic home with great amenities and tasteful decor. High tech heating system suffered a short-term glitch and Corey went above and beyond to make sure we stayed comfortable and had options. I would really this Vrbo without any hesitation!!

It feels remote on this property, but it is so convenient to everywhere in the county. It is both historic and subtly modernized. Beautifully furnished, comfortable beds and pillows, clean! Charming and spacious

This house has a combination of modern updated amenities and rustic charm. The kitchen is has a lot of room and all of the modern necessities. the bedrooms are roomy and comfortable. The grounds are well maintained with a gas outdoor fire and a nice gas grill. There is lots of room for relaxing in the upstairs living area and the first floor sun room. The hosts responded to messages quickly and made check in and check out easy.

There is no need to look any further.This house is a uniquely, perfect combination o f wood & stone which carries on throughout the entire house. In most every room the floors & even the ceilings are made of natural wood, with the walls being made from rock & stone. The furniture & fixtures are incredibly well placed to complement the structure. Even the artifacts and decorative pieces scattered around the house were interesting & well placed. For those of us who love interior design, just being in this house, trying to take it all in, is a continual visual experience for the eyes and mind. The combination is exquisite.Not only is the house perfectly decorated, it's immaculate. The mattresses were comfortable, sheets were crisp, even the pillows were perfect & it has everything you could possibly need. Every utensil & kitchen applicance you can think of is there. Incredible house and setting

My wife and I stayed at the "general store " house for a few days along with our 2 dogs. Leigh spared no expense restoring this beautiful home, with the original wife plank flooring, servants stairs case, butlers pantry, etc but with high end appliances, furniture and bedding. The setting is very peaceful, having some coffee on the front porch and watching the farmers go to work. The grounds are well manicured and close to everything. 15 minutes to Lancaster, 10 to Wrightsville and the Susque
