Everything was clean and lovely. Sam really did make it so there is not much reason to leave the property unless you want to. He keeps the house in pristine condition and thinks of all of the things to make sure all needs are met. Will definitely stay again!!!

Honestly, I had no issues about the place at all. It had a lot of amenities, Sam was very amiable and kind. If I went to the Lexington area again, I'd certainly stay there. The pool was awesome. Don't think I've ever played so much pool volleyball in my life.

Sam is an excellent host. The house was very nice, well stocked, and super clean. The pool, hot tub and fire pit were great. The grandchildren enjoyed the play set. We will definitely come back and refer this house to our family and friends.

This is the place you want to book when near Lexington. Home is in great shape, well stocked, super clean. Rooms are great and the host is awesome! The back deck, hot tub, pool, and fire pit make this an incredible stay!

Our large group of adults and kids up to age 15 had an amazing time. Sam couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed the beautiful solar-heated pool, relaxing hot tub, fun and safe tree house, and sitting around the tables on the back patio and by the hot tub. Some of our fondest memories are sitting by the firepit in the evening, making smores, and playing games. The adults enjoyed taking leisurely walks around the pond and the kids enjoyed feeding watermelon to the ducks. Sam has thought of everything - bikes, scooters, plenty of comfy outdoor chairs, pool toys, pool towels, and more. We truly had a wonderful time!

Truly loved staying here!!!! Hope to come back. It was located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. We love walking around the lake where there was always some geese. The host was magnificent with providing information about the house, about local restaurants which we loved and also about area tourist attractions.

This house was wonderful. It was stocked with anything we could think of and we felt at home. There is a beautiful lake and plenty of room for all 10 of us. We enjoyed the location and small town close by. There was plenty of things to do when we wanted to relax at the house - puzzles, games, movies, hot tub. Sam was an amazing host, we enjoyed meeting him and even got to see his baby ducks and chickens! We'd love to come back when it's warmer and hangout in the pool!

Family vacation

Our family had a great time staying at this lodge! Everyone enjoyed all the activities that were available. The grand kids LOVED the pool, trampoline and playset. We all also enjoyed the firepit !! Great place to stay. Hope to stay here again in the near future!!

The house in located just outside Nicholasville and a short drive to Lexington. Was very central to the activities that we had planned and had a great setup for the group we had staying with us. The outdoor fire pit and hot tub was a great addition along with the TV in the main living room. If planning a quite get together or a Bourbon tour this is a great choice.
