We discovered when we got there the elevator was broken, broken the entire time and was not being worked on. Made our stay difficult as I have breathing issues.

Had a great, hassel free stay. Easy check in instructions. The place was clean, updated and comfortable. View was unmatched. Close easy access to the beach, restsurants, the loop, and Uber is readily available if you dont want to rent a car. Will definitely be back!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was awesome! Absolute beautiful view of the beach/ocean not only from the balcony but windows as well! Very clean in the condo as well as the hallways and elevator. Nice little carts to haul all of your luggage/coolers/etc. to your room. Within walking distance to a few restaurants and beach shops. Public access stayed busy but it was fun to sit on the balcony and people watch. Despite being busy, still was able to hear the waves from the ocean at night and slept very well. Comfortable furniture and all appliances in good working condition. I would definitely stay here again and they get a 10 from us! I’d give them a 100%

Great property! Best part you always have parking for the beach! We saw a sea turtle off the pier on our last night which is super rare. Dolphins on our ferry hopper trip. Visited the USS North Carolina. Had some great food at local restaurants and loved all the cute shops down the street. Everything you need is in walking distance. I slept on the bunk bed and it was comfortable for a plus sized adult. My son is 6’4 (at 13) so I gave him the bed! It was perfect for the two of us. The only thing that was tough was managing the sand. Second part is the dryer, it broke a couple of my items because the lint trap sticks out and catches on straps or ties etc… air dry those so you don’t catch anything that could get caught. A mat by the door would help with sand as well. Thanks for a wonderful experience! I hope to come back and stay again next year!

Management Company Are Great People

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great Place, great condo. There was an issue regarding a broken TV. In the end, we worked it out. Ed is a great person to deal with, very fair. We will be back again!

Close to the water

This place was exactly as advertised. Best part is that it was close to the beach. Worst part it rained the last night of my stay and I could hear water dripping all night through the ceiling. The water came through in the bedroom and soaked the carpet. Did not leave a good impression.

Karen, Oh goodness - I am sorry to hear about this. I wish I would have known so that we could address. This is a middle floor unit so I'm not sure how this could have happened however I will have maintenance look into it ASAP. One South Lumina Suites

The condo is in an area within walking distance to grocery store, food places, ice cream and shopping. The condo shows a King bed and 2 bunk beds in the pictures. The bunk beds are in a hallway so everyone shares a bath and dressing space. I received the instructions for check in the day before I left my home. Be aware there is only one parking space for 4 people so if you are bringing more than one car, you will pay $25-$40/ day/car to park.

Park the car -- walk to almost everything!

The door to the unit is very difficult to open because the extra threshhold is so thick it rubs against the door. Pushing and pulling on it aggravated my wrist. It may be a good idea to fix that since it is the main source of egress.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I love One South Lumina! Location is awesome (oceanfront) and all suites have an ocean view. Oceanfront pool is lovely if a bit small. My rental unit was good. Clean, well kept. Furniture as pictured. They are not kidding about supplying no spices - not even salt and pepper. Just know! The only thing I found to be a real con was no ice maker in the fridge/freezer - ok fine but there were also no ice trays to make up for it. Super annoying. I don’t want to go buy ice for a cooler for the beach when there’s a full kitchen which should be inclusive of ice of some sort. Not the biggest deal and certainly didn’t ruin the stay but it’s a thing. Weather was lovely...restaurants nearby are great and all walkable. Would recommend!

Great Location, but noisy

I would have given 5 stars, but because this is on a public access parking street, there was noise literally all day and evening long with parking, doors slamming shut, horns blowing, car drove down and u-turned ALL day and night, which was strange since it's a dead-end. But, it was a very nice place and incredible view of the ocean, sunrise and moon rise. Walking distance to everything.

Easy access

If you are looking for a nice one bedroom with great access to the beach, this is your spot. Also close to great restaurants and night life. Very clean and easy check-in. Would stay here again.

A great find !!!!

This property is in an excellent location. Close to the beach. The pool area was nice and the place itself was clean and had everything you need. The only thing is I wish they had beach chairs. Other than that , we had a lovely stay !!!
