We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean, and all the lighting was on for us upon arrival which was a nice touch. We had to communicate with the host a couple times. I appreciated the quick response.

The house is nestled in a private oasis surrounded by mature trees and vineyards all around, and one right next door! The hot tub was a favorite and the kitchen was a highlight with everything you could possibly need. The house is older, so expect smaller spaces and some tricky maneuvering in and around the home. Still, the home is spacious and nicely appointed. We would definitely stay there again!

Cool spot, incredibly convenient to many wineries. Comfy beds and linens, kitchen has all you need and more. The hot tub is great after some vino. Nice and quiet location

Great Home Base when exploring the area.

The House served use great as a home base when bouncing from activity to activity in the greater portland area. If you want a place tucked out of the way, with quiet and solitude this is the place for you.

What a fun stay at this private cabin in the woods of Willamette wine country. The house is so cozy and stocked with everything you need. It was so quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was clean and so relaxing. The main bedroom had the most comfortable bed. Communication with the host was so easy. Easy to get to wineries around town and only a few minutes to get to town for shopping. Loved this place!

Wonderful peaceful spot

Everything was top notch - very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Great bed. Amazing forested location. Not a neighbor in sight. Close to town, vineyards and an amazing creamery down the way!

Fairview Cabin stay

Really nice cabin secluded in the woods in beautiful Willamette Valley Wine country. Property manager was great to deal with, cabin was clean and well equipped. Be aware of gravel driveway, walkways and gravel roads in the area.

Ladies wine weekend

This home was absolutely perfect for a ladies wine weekend! Great location, charming with tons of character, and responsive hosts. The house had everything you could need-it was well stocked and they had thought of everything from coffee with creamer to wine for the night time and any bathroom items you might need. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and the towels plush. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day of tastings. We will definitely book here again!

Girls trip

Great spot near all the wineries and Dundee/newberg. Really cool funky vibe. In the woods and pretty isolated. We saw deer every morning and evening! Only downside was the AC wasn’t as cool as we’d like. We still had a great time.

Cleartones getaway

We enjoyed or stay. The property was a good fit for our three couples. Cooking was a breeze in the well equipped kitchen. We found everything we needed and the setting was relaxing and comfortable even on a very warm day. Furniture was comfortable and functional. Kitchen and playroom lighting was great, however, the lighting in the living and dining areas was insufficient four playing board games and reading music.

The management team and hosts were excellent, which is why I’m giving this property 3 stars. They helped me plan the itinerary for a small fee and were highly responsive to any questions and issues that arose. I appreciate their helpfulness and attentiveness. That being said, the property itself was not as great as we had hoped. It’s listed as a 3.5 bath but the downstairs bathroom is only a tub with no shower, so we really could only use the 2 upstairs bathrooms to shower. The gravel walkway up to the main door was slippery and dangerous, and the gravel driveway up to the main road was also difficult to drive on. Once, our van got stuck at the top and we had to physically push it onto the road. The yard space with the hot tub is not very nicely kept and was really only used when in the actual hot-tub. The washing a machine broke (though the management team very helpfully picked up our laundry to solve this issue). It was overall more dated and old than it appeared in the listing, and there are numerous ways where you can tell it was built for short term rentals and not to be “lived in” (ex. Paint not always clean, odd decorations, not all the kitchen tools we’d want, fairly uncomfortable beds, etc). These issues did not ruin our trip by any means, but the inconveniences added up, and I would not choose to stay at this property again.

Women's Winter Wine Weekend

House was perfect. Forest setting was peaceful and remote without being far from Main Street. Tori Mor winery is literally next door and was such an enjoyable experience and amazing view. Hot tub fit 6, big basement even needed but was a great space. We even played the piano. Primary bathroom doesn't have a door which is kind of weird and we couldn't find a cheese grater...but those were the only thing slightly inconvenient.

Malcolm had reported to us that he was going to have twelve guests come to attend a work conference. We later discovered that he had a massive party at the home which he advertised on his company website and we believe charged a door fee to attend. There was a lot of damage to the property and stains throughout the house of vomit and possibly urine, numerous bags of trash containing solo cups, empty bottles of alcohol, ten or more pizza boxes, and broken furniture, on top of everything in the home being rearranged. Based on his company website he takes advantage of rental homes often to throw this manner of party. Hosts beware.

All about location of wineries

Location was perfect for visiting wineries, close to Dundee downtown. The rental for us being young senior citizens was not the best layout. For watching news with coffee in the morning tv was in the basement with very uncomfortable furniture. Upstairs a big grand piano in corner of living room and 2 large sofas set on an angle which was hard to move around. Lots of steps to climb 3 levels of living area. 2 patios to enjoy but one had no furniture and the other had furniture that needed new cushions. The beds and linens were very nice. The rental needs some updates and living room agustments

Wine Country Forrest

This place is gorgeous! While in the wine 'farmland' of the area, it's nestled back in the forrest. It is walking distance to the Tori tasting room right up the hill as well as several others within a few miles. Including a fresh cheese place. The home is like a mid century cabin and very well equipped with full everything. You could host and cook your own wine dinners if you wanted in this space. All the things were nicely included. Piano, bbq, full ping pong and game room etc. We recommend downloading any videos as wifi works-ish. It was cutting out a lot but we didn't really need it. There are coffee shops nearby for work if needed. We ate at The Allison nearby and it was amazing. Overall this stay was lovely! *do note it is not a remodeled cabin so the kitchen, flooring and bathrooms are original to the house from at least the 80's or 90's from what I can see but very clean and in decent condition. If you have dog there is a small gated area but the property is open. Bring a stake. We wood highly recommend this wine Forrest oasis

We had a terrific stay. The place was very private, out of the mainstream. Yet it was a short trip into Newberg. It was spacious and comfortable. Lots of places to sit and relax. Well supplied. Highly recommended.
