Gather round Couzin Sid’s 7ft dining table or dine Al fresco on one of the three outside tables. Meal prep is a breeze in our spacious kitchen stocked (and labeled!) with all essential utensils and appliances.
The farmhouse is one story on a level lot for easy access and gorgeous views from the Valley. Conveniently located between Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Townsend. One mile from the Foothills Parkway… don’t miss the views! Five miles to tubing in Townsend. Just minutes from Cades Cove where you can view homesteads, wildlife, wildflowers, and perhaps even bears! We’re close to dining, shopping, and markets for meals and essentials.

Couzin Sid has a Septic Tank. Place wipes (even if they are flushable), feminine products, paper towels, facial tissues, hair, etc in the trash.
Couzin Sid does not have a kitchen sink disposal. Do not put food, grease, coffee grounds, etc down the drains.
Reset the A/C thermostat back to 74 (summer) 55 (winter) upon checkout. Lock all doors and windows. Secure sliding door with the wood stake provided.

The home was absolutely perfect for our 2 week stay! Between the view from the porch and the quaint area, its perfect location to ride through Cades Cove, hike waterfall trails in Tremont, picnicking at metcalf bottoms, or if you're into the touristy parts of town between souvenir shops that are minutes away, alpine coaster, or zip lines all within 15 minutes! We're the outdoorsy people and being from south Georgia, we can enjoy outside at couzin sids, unlike the sweltering heat the swamps provide back home. I have a 2.5 year old son, and he ran every inch of the soft grass in the yard, and climbing on couzin Sid! My parents came and are older. The home was perfect for their mobility. We cooked so many meals in the spacious kitchen including breakfast we enjoyed out on the porch soaking in the gorgeous views. The host Mia was super helpful and easy to contact. I hope it'll be available again for next year's vacation for another year of memories with my family.

I had a great stay at Uncle Sid’s. When an issue came up, Mia was quick to respond and helped resolve it right away. The place has two bedrooms and a comfortable couch. There was definitely enough room for six people, and it could fit more comfortably. We had a lot of fun during our stay!

Best friend’s birthday getaway

We had a wonderful time staying at Couzin Sid’s. The home was nice and cozy and had everything we needed for our weekend trip. Very close to all the places we wanted to visit while in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinberg. Will definitely stay again.

Meet your host!
Native to Tennessee Mia lives just outside of Nashville. Having traveled all over the US she was always drawn back to the beauty of the Smoky Mountains and the Southern Hospitality that makes this paradise unique.
Couzin Sid’s farmhouse was lovingly designed and remodeled by your host! When deciding on a mascot she instantly fell in love with a vintage tractor packed full of personality. Sid was carefully brought out of retirement in Southern Alabama and traveled to Nashville before coming to his very own home in the Valley.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

For decades Mia rented cabins, hotel rooms, resorts, and camp sites in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Townsend, Sevierville, and finally Wears Valley. There was simply no comparison to looking up and being surrounded by mountains!

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

Couzin Sid’s is located on a perfectly level lot. No worries if you’ll have to rent a 4-wheel drive just to make it to the front door! We’re far enough away from the crowds to be able to enjoy time together yet close enough to not spend vacation time traveling back and forth for dinner and attractions.
