Perfect location for a quiet, relaxing get away. Cabin had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Great communication with the host. She graciously offered suggestions of some things to do in the area. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of a place to stay near Mt. Gilead.

This "cabin in the woods", as we call it, was an excellent getaway spot. It is clean, cozy, well-decorated, with plenty of character. It has a beautiful sunroom and a lovely deck out back. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. The check in and out was easy and communication with the host was smooth. Highly recommend this Vrbo location.

Our stay was wonderful. The cottage in the woods is exactly that. The trees rustling in the wind, many song birds to enjoy, and a beautiful deer was part of our weekend. The cottage was a delightful place to stay. Janel was a wonderful host, her quick responses and the information she provided early made planning our trip as easy as possible. Everything was GREAT. Great little place. Rustic. Lots of creaking noises especially when the heat runs. I admit I didn't care for the cancelation insurance being required but cute place and great hosts.

Great little place, we really enjoyed staying there. This was very easy with open communication with the owners. Such a cute little place to stay. We really enjoyed our time there. Cozy and comfortable little cottage without the amenities of Home. Thank you so much.

Birthday Trip to the woods

This property was perfect for our trip. We spent 3 nights relaxing, birding, and visiting sites in and near Mt Gilead. Owner was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice cottage

Everything was clean and they went out of their way to make it special for my grandkids! The treats and the gifts as well as the tent, made the trip very special for the kids.

Quiet cottage nestled in the woods

This is a very quiet place... nice and relaxing. Many places to eat and opportunities to just relax. Great place to bring the small dogs with a fenced in area. They had all of the creature comforts of home!

Quiet and Private

This cabin is nicely situated and more than met our needs. We were in the area to work for a few days and wanted something quieter and more private than a motel, where we could have our pet with us and cook our own meals. Although it was cold and snowy during our stay, we were warm and cozy. The owner was friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay here again.

The cabin was very well equipped with everything that we needed. Our host, Janele, was a wonderful communicator so we had very few unanswered questions at check in. Thanks for a nice weekend!

Great place to stay.

Very clean and well taken care of, excellent location, quiet and peaceful. Great place to stay. Janel was very personable and helpful. This cabin has great history and is in a beautiful location. We enjoyed the area-Galion, Mt Gilead, and Marion as well as all the little towns in between. Our dogs were very happy with the fenced in area-very dog friendly. Thank you Janel! Hope to visit the cabin again.
