Situated just a short drive from the stunning Raystown Lake, Allegrippis hiking and biking trails and Juniata College, this property is the perfect base for your next adventure. Since opening in 2022, Sunny Acres has received 5 star reviews from every guest!

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a cozy living room, where you can unwind and enjoy the countryside. The fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and a host of other appliances, invites you to unleash your culinary creativity. Savor your meals at the dining table, or step outside and fire up the grill for an alfresco dining experience. Sunny Acres is Pet Friendly so plan to bring your furry friends along for the trip. This is a beautiful vacation home. Very clean and spacious and the kitchen is stocked with everything you will need. Lovely porch and backyard area with games for the family to play. Easy check-in and check-out. Highly recommend!

Our stay was nice and comfortable. We considering rent this property in the future.If you have an option to bring you own portable grill, do it. The one that property offers, is not a grill it just metal box that does't cook anything.

Great house rental near Lake Raystown

The owner was the best. He gave us great advice for a local affordable restaurant and which trails to hike. Quick to respond and overly helpful. The place is near everything we needed and super clean and comfortable. So nice to have a place to eat breakfast and lunch and relax after a long day at the lake.

Great for families and dogs.

We enjoyed staying in close proximity to the lake and having a boat launch 5 minutes away was fantastic. Our dogs loved the dog door and fenced-in backyard. They loved watching rabbits and chipmunks. The house was clean and in great working order. Thank you for an enjoyable vacation!

Family weekend visit

We rented Sunny Acres for a weekend visit with family in the area. The property was exactly as advertised. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and there was plenty of room for all our grandchildren to play. The kitchen was fully stocked so all we needed to do was visit the local grocery store and we were set for the weekend. I would defiantly recommend Sunny Acres.

A Perfect Getaway

Sunny Acres is a beautiful property. The amenities were great, and we appreciated the attention to detail. Everything was labeled and easy to find. Our dogs loved the backyard. We stayed here for Penn State graduation. It's only about an hour from State College. The weather was terrible, so we plan to come back sometime in the future. There are so many outdoor activities to do near Raystown Lake. Thank you, David and Sunny!

Amazing!

The hosts thought of everything at this gorgeous property. It was very clean and the labels on the drawers where super helpful. The dogs LOVED the yard and we enjoyed the swing by the horse barn. If it wasn’t so hot this week we would have spent more time on the wonderful deck. The lake was so close and we enjoyed kayaking and fishing every day. We will be back!!!!!

James Creek home

We wanted to come to PA to visit family who live in Bellwood and go to Harvestfest at Delgrosso’s Amusement Park in Tipton. This James Creek house is absolutely beautiful and worked perfectly for our family. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and we could not take advantage of all that the house has to offer. Thank you for opening up your home to us.

great home for our family with little ones. The home was well—equipped and we didn’t want for anything. It had laundry, dish & bath soaps; spices etc. The owner was very easy to work with. You couldn’t really walk to the lake since it was marshy. We were in close driving distance to Seven Points though. A negative was that we had to pick up the previous renters dog waste & the deck steps were a little tricky for us Wonderful home & yard with views.

Best Dog Friendly VRBO Ever!

We really loved this VRBO! The owner thought of everything - Great stocked kitchen, grill, TV rooms (2), deck with a fenced in yard for our dog. It’s a lovely quiet location. It had all the necessities soap, paper towels, shampoo etc. We hiked & fished. Plenty of room inside. The owner was ok with a later checkout since no one was coming in after us. It gave us a chance to have a nice Easter brunch with our son who attends Juniata College without rushing out at 11am. We really appreciated that-thanks!! It was a super easy checkout. Would stay here again for sure!! Thank you for a great Easter memory!!

Well equipped and clean

Went to Raystown Lake area to visit the nearby University. This rental perfectly suited our needs for the weekend! We had a cleaning issue, but our host quickly addressed the issue. We would stay again if we’re in the area.

Fantastic Lake House

Everything about the stay was great. The house was very clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, and their was plenty of space to spread out and relax. The deck and backyard were very nice too. Dave, the property owner, was extremely helpful and responsive. It's a short walk to the water, and a short drive to the marina/main body lake. The property is also nice and private/quiet. Definitely a great time!

We are your hosts, Dave and my beautiful, sweet pup Sunny! Purchasing Sunny Acres is a long time dream come true. My brother and I were raised in Philadelphia and looked forward to spending our summers with our grandparents who lived along the old Raystown Dam. The rule was we had to wait an hour to run down the path to the river for a daily afternoon of swimming, water skiing, floating in our inner tubes and catching crayfish and minnows. What a way to spend the summer! We also moved here in the mid 60's for a few years which further solidified our connection to the area. As adults, we boated to Nancy's Camp every summer with the family and the next generations have come to love Raystown as well. Even with the creation of the lake and expansion around the area, there's still a feeling of "coming home" every time I drive here. I now have the opportunity to share Sunny Acres with you to create your own memories of the Raystown Lake Region. Sunny and I hope you will come to visit us often!

Sunny Acres is truly in a perfect location to enjoy the lake and all the area attractions. There are few properties that are a 1/4 mile walk to Raystown Lake. You'll love the peace and quiet of the back yard and being able to jump in the car and be at a boat launch, beach, restaurant or shopping area that are only 5 to 20 minutes away. Inside, you'll love sleeping in the mountain air on luxurious mattresses and linens. We've thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and entertaining from a fully equipped kitchen, a separate "quiet room" for reading and another large family room complete with games, an extra fridge, beautiful furniture and a large screen TV. You have everything you need to forget about work and home and relax!
